Hi Rob, thanks for the review. I already bought the copper Scriveiner EDC with a fine point about 6 weeks ago, obviously before your review. I love pocket fountain pens. Mine writes very well. I was surprised how heavy it is. I would have purchased the black one if I had realized how heavy this one is. That's the only drawback I have to the copper one.
Hi Rob. Thanks for this review. I have been keeping an eye on the Scriveiner EDC for a while. The black version appeals to me because, as you said, it's lighter than the others and the section looks less slippery. However, I have also been looking closely at the TWSBI Mini. A quite different pen but a similar size and price to the Scriveiner. Anyway your review gives me some food for thought. Thanks again.
got the pocket silver and gold spend like 100 pounds for both excellent pens but a bit heavy but overall worth every penny but i write more on fine nib cant stand medium fountain pen nibs
Thanks, Rob, for the reviews. I have looked for months, having seen advertisements on Amazon. I am still not convinced it is a pen I would buy. Nothing horrible about the pens but not anything that sways me to get one.
I like the look of these, and the idea of different 'grades' of the EDC. Btw, are you sure they are actually manufactured in the UK? Be cool if that's confirmed.
@@peterlinfield8707it seems most pens nowadays are designed in Europe or USA but all manufactured in China. That’s the reality of modern economics and global trade for most goods.
