hmm, Seija has generally been an interesting character to me. on one hand, she is quite blatantly rebelling against society and yet, she holds a desire to "help" the weak. perhaps it comes from a genuinely benevolent desire but twisted in this smoky mirror of her contrarian nature. trying to do good but forced to do evil as per her nature as an amanojaku. if such is the case, she could be construed as a tragic figure and the most noble as she is trying to do good but forced to be rejected by society. thoughts, or am I just overanalyzing?
Would argue it’s actually her nature as a Youkai that’s making her do good. What little we’ve seen of her such as in Grimoire of Usami doesn’t make her seem particularly nice (such as setting up a potentially lethal contest and manipulating Sukuna). If anything I’d assume the only reason she’s helping the weak is because that’s what would allow her to flip the hierarchy of Gensokyo. They’re a tool for her to use.
