Nightmare's critical edge is only strong if it is not guard impact. If the opponent attacks and the critical edge guard impacts it, then it would cause less damage. Also there is a big disadvantage on that attack. Your opponent can just do an 8-way run and do an unblockable attack before Nightmare performs it since it is slow.

These are really lame compared to the new ones in SoulCalibur 6. These just feel like powered up special moves and were a huge downgrade from Critical Finishes from 4. This game was still really fun to play reagardless. I put so many hours into it.

I mean, on Tekken i use the King´s, but i don´t rely on the grabs ALL the time (just a last resource, make sure to Tag safely and combo finisher)

Yea. In order to avoid it, you need to know when he will do it and you have to crouch early to be able to crouch and avoid it. I crouch most of the time against him because he throws a lot

It was a clean hit. Clean hits are an rng feature that makes an attack do more damage than normal. It also applies to Algol's critical edge.

I prefer these significantly, they're much snappier and don't interrupt the fight as much.
I like these more in 6 they take too long dragging the match making it a slog 5 is quick and to the point.
