Teaching Cooper To Lie Down

Cooper doesn't really know any commands, and he is 6 years old. This means that it is going to take a little extra effort to teach him these things. Not only is he learning new behaviors and commands, but he has to learn how to learn because he doesn't have a lot of experience doing that. The more your dog learns, the quicker and easier they learn things in the future.
This is a great video showing the process of teaching a green dog how to lie down when it really doesn't come naturally and they are very inclined to stay upright. I think it would've taken an army to wrangle him into the down position, and that wouldn't be super productive...
