I am so jealous of the amazing history that you have to explore, I could probably spend a week at each location and still want to see more. The beauty of course being that even during the pandemic, you can still get to explore these amazing places. At 3:18 what an amazing view of the ceiling, the sculptures and painting almost looks as if it was untouched, perhaps because it is naturally shielded from the elements? There are so many chapels there, isn't there? You must have spent the entire day there. I am also glad that you showed us the view of the surroundings, you don't realize just how beautiful the mountains are until you see a panoramic view of them. It also looks like there was a lot of climbing involved, yikes!! Another wonderful video my friend, thank you for taking us along on your journey to this beautiful place.

Comments like this really pay off all the effort put into doing your best with the means available. I always put my heart into it and I hope you feel this! Oh, my friend! It's true, I stayed there for a whole, wonderful day! First the devotional path, uphill, very exciting and full of suggestion. It was a shame that the Chapels were closed due to the pandemic, the interiors were incredible. You could have a peek, but I couldn't film because of the reflections. And then when you arrive in the town you can enjoy a wonderful view and you can visit this enchanting orgo made up of narrow alleys and priceless views. And then, we walked along two paths that followed one after the other, to get to those two panoramic balconies that I showed. Really the view was breathtaking and the gaze was lost very far! Seeing the remains of the WWI trench was also thrilling. Truly a place full of things to see and discover. A place that really touched my heart. A big embrace and have a great week, dear Richard! Non c'è da stupirsi che il Sacro Monte di Varese sia stato insignito del riconoscimento di Patrimonio dell'Umanità! I tuoi sottotitoli sono stati un'idea così brillante e hanno contribuito notevolmente al nostro divertimento, così come le tue informazioni scritte. Il Sacro Monte di Varese mi ha riportato indietro fino al medioevo, quando la devozione religiosa era di primaria importanza nella vita. Sono rimasto stupito dall'architettura e dall'arte (ho intravisto alcuni affreschi) di ogni cappella e arco di trionfo! I am so jealous of the amazing history that you have to explore, I could probably spend a week at each location and still want to see more. The beauty of course being that even during the pandemic, you can still get to explore these amazing places. At 3:18 what an amazing view of the ceiling, the sculptures and painting almost looks as if it was untouched, perhaps because it is naturally shielded from the elements? There are so many chapels there, isn't there? You must have spent the entire day there. I am also glad that you showed us the view of the surroundings, you don't realize just how beautiful the mountains are until you see a panoramic view of them. It also looks like there was a lot of climbing involved, yikes!! Another wonderful video my friend, thank you for taking us along on your journey to this beautiful place.

Oh, my friend! It's true, I stayed there for a whole, wonderful day!
First the devotional path, uphill, very exciting and full of suggestion. It was a shame that the Chapels were closed due to the pandemic, the interiors were incredible. You could have a peek, but I couldn't film because of the reflections.
And then when you arrive in the town you can enjoy a wonderful view and you can visit this enchanting orgo made up of narrow alleys and priceless views.
And then, we walked along two paths that followed one after the other, to get to those two panoramic balconies that I showed.
Really the view was breathtaking and the gaze was lost very far!
Seeing the remains of the WWI trench was also thrilling.
Truly a place full of things to see and discover. A place that really touched my heart.

Non c'è da stupirsi che il Sacro Monte di Varese sia stato insignito del riconoscimento di Patrimonio dell'Umanità! I tuoi sottotitoli sono stati un'idea così brillante e hanno contribuito notevolmente al nostro divertimento, così come le tue informazioni scritte.
Il Sacro Monte di Varese mi ha riportato indietro fino al medioevo, quando la devozione religiosa era di primaria importanza nella vita. Sono rimasto stupito dall'architettura e dall'arte (ho intravisto alcuni affreschi) di ogni cappella e arco di trionfo! È molto appropriato che questo tributo alla gloria di Dio sia ambientato nella magnificenza della Sua creazione naturale.
Mentre ci dirigevamo verso il bellissimo villaggio in cima alla collina di Santa Maria del Monte, le viste panoramiche sono diventate ancora più fantastiche! Che meraviglioso lavoro con la fotocamera! Ci è piaciuto anche il modo in cui ci hai portato attraverso i vicoli e ci hai mostrato le belle casette accatastate l'una sull'altra.

This place where we were in the summer is really wonderful and also very exciting. Walking along the devotional path, where many pilgrims have walked over the centuries is something truly touching. And we were amazed by the beauty and harmony of the chapels.
And then the arrival to the village ... wonderful and the views that swept as far as Switzerland and the Alps! Absolutely fantastic. A place that truly remains in the eyes and in the heart! A BIG embrace and lots of love to all of you!

Lovely video of Sacro Monte , the architecture is beautiful and fill with so much history. So many chapel’s 💒 they are all well maintained.
Santa Maria del Monte village has a stunning view of the area and is very nice . The interior of the 15 th chapel is so lovely. Nice to see the streets and house of the village I would love to visit there for sure .The mountains were so beautiful and so many of them .
