With Measurements for Fabricating Your Own.
I am grateful for this information. I recently Inherited a DB missing this bracket. This is a old video, but new to me. Thank you so much!!
Your Welcome, Good Luck with Your DB
DanO. You're the man on these DB's. Progress update on mine: I've had it all apart, repaired the broken hub, cleaned up the clutch bearings, etc. It is now all repainted and in the process of putting it back together. "New" Tecumseh engine is on, and running. "New" wheels are supposed to arrive today (Previous owner/abuser had drilled out the hubs and installed 4-bolt 13-inch wheels. Got that all straightened out now.) Your 'new' engine mounting plate is on - fits perfectly. So, Thanks again!
Thanks Duke.. The Rear Transmission EYE is Used Like a Tow Hitch,
For Pulling The Sulky and the Hauling Cart.Attachments.
There may be other Implements I am Not Familiar with That use it as well..
The ADDICTION Never Ends............
Happy to hear it's all coming togeather for you. Best Regards, DanO'
You have alot of great videos I recently purchased a 1946-49 DB with attachments and found out later I was missing the bracket. I am in the middle of the restore and powder coating everything. I do alot of CAD work for a living and was wondering if I could do a drawing and send it to you and see if it is accurate to stock. I could do other parts to help you document them as well if you would like. Let me know.
Great video. Thanks for the info!
