    I like having a more full battlefield. One of the main reasons I don’t like other games like hell let loose for example, is that I don’t get any kills. It’s satisfying I think to get so many kills

    Personally, I think the best option to improve the AI wold be to make their combat effectiveness, mainly how long they take to shoot at you, dependent on how far away they are. Therefore, they wouldn't 360 noscope you from 500m away like they did before and they wouldn't just stand there as you mow down an entire bunker like they do now. This could also be applied to things like their accuracy or their fire rate/length of bursts.
    Maybe this is already the case, but it doesn't seem to me like it is.

      Red Orchestra 2 had a decent balance of that from what I remember.

      ever been shot at by an A.I with a machine gun? they are way to accurate over hundreds of meters with that thing. I aggree that they should have to take as long as they sometimes do in a bunker, but I still get noscoped by A.I 1 out of 5 times when walking into a building, not to mention their melee seems to be more powerfull and better aimed than I am able with pointing my bayonet at right at them.

    I really think they need to improve squad controls. Something like your suggestion or like Men of War would be great. At the moment I feel like theyre just a mobile respawn and not much use in a fight. Which is pretty sad considering how well equipped and leveled my squads are.

    I think a republic commando style of squad command would be the best, point and click at something to assign a guy to it, and hold the same button to call all the guys back to you.

    Honestly, they need more interaction with vehicles. Either make the AT gunner more independent by having them actually use the launcher when they are told to. Or having special soldiers like snipers and radiomen auto mark tanks location for you until they lose sight or you mark it for the team.

      Yeah they should make it so when you mark a tank and have at gunner in your squad he shots at the tank

    The bots are great in Enlisted.
    In particular, they really help the feeling of being in the best War film you've ever seen, the volume of soldiers on screen really set it apart for me.

    Historically the German squad tactics didn't split squads into different elements. One squad might cover another movement but Americans developed the tactic in combat.

      Well the MG team would suppress/cover an area while the rifle teams flanked and their doctrine heavily relied on the MG from the things I've read. There's a TH-camr who animates these using the actual German handbooks from WW2 to depict the tactics.

    I think this is a bit complicated of a solution, I don't think splitting the squad up is necessary but them being better at taking cover would be nice and being able to give an order to cover or focus in a specific direction which would make them more offensively capable (enemies in the direction/sector you order to be covered get targeted faster and more accurately by AI) for example. someone else mentioned making them faster reacting at closer range as well which would be good.

      They should add it to the aggression changing think when you hold Y you can change how spread apart they are with E and if they should be passive or aggressive with Q i think they should add a third option to that and make it so they take cover more often or make them prioritize taking cover in passive mode

    I think this is a great idea and maybe if there were 2 game modes. One being realistic (has these features, a slower pace), and then an arcade with the current features may be updated a bit but faster pace. I think the ai talking (enemy locations and stuff) and the hand signals is a great idea.

    I always wish there was a WW2 game that had the gameplay of LEGO Star Wars 3 which allowed you play as an individual character while simultaneously controlling armies on the battlefield

    You don't order your squad around. You can have them wait a little behind you or something. So you can not switch to a new guy while they're in the midddle of dying.

    I will have to agree with you on the fact that Ai makes Enlisted stand out. There's so many ways to improve that feature. I would love for the gameplay to be slowed down more to make it more Tactical. After playing through the entire Brothers in arm franchise it's not impossible to make this system work. Maybe one day enlisted will get more game modes like war thunder, how there's arcade battles and realistic.

    The fireteam thing would be unnecessary since enlisted is a multiplayer game but everything else sounds great. Just being able to control when and where your bots are shooting, bots actually using and fighting from cover and independently throwing grenades at hard to hit or dug in enemies would be nice.

      It would be perfect if you could decide to use the fireteam mechanic or not and designate who is in what team. Imagine having an at team that you place at an end of the road and an assaulter team move up to attack an obj or a sniper team covering your infantry assault. Ugh I'm dreaming haha, I wish they removed the 'too far from squad' mechanic or did something other than that so you could spread your team out.

    i believe if they make the bots more aware of the sounds around them, like footsteps, door closes behind them, etc, then they would pay attention to whats close by and actually look at it and act according to their perks (how fast to respond to the danger, etc). that would be enough.
    Splitting your own squad into two entities to do an operation is a cool idea, but not suitable for this fast paced game, also this game is supposed to be played with your team to actually win, pushing players to collaborate, but if u get to split your squad and finish off things alone then maybe u should play it offline and do all of this on your own. the online collaboration and your contribution for victory as a team is what makes this game amazing in my opinion. all we need is improvement for the bots reaction to things i believe.
    i rarely use the K button to make sure my machine gunner is standing by the stair waiting for enemies to come up, doesnt work all the time, but also works good as an alarm when i see this dude dead on my list, meaning this building got infiltrated by the enemies haha

    Just make them seek cover, also, there was a star wars game called republic commando, you could shuffle between modes, like search and destroy, move in formation and such by just pressing f1 -f4 also, a focus fire button, you could press v to mark an area, then press x for your squad to shoot/ watch that area

    Games should give players options. Set up a more defensive or offensive team. It's annoying that they're out in the open, moving around randomly. Bots are useless most of the time. They die in seconds.
    I hate the situation where I distance myself from the group and orders are cancelled, causing them to leave during a bombardment or artillery barrage.
    It's a guess, but I believe this is so to allow players to have a higher and more satisfying kill rate.

    I don’t get how players use their squad as a mobile spawn. In my opinion the combination of not being able to keep them static farther than 30 meters away and their horrible path finding leads to my whole squad being dead long before I die.

    Bots have no use being able to issue suppression fire would be great or have them us stationery weapons

    The a.i REALLY needs to shoot most of their ammo not just take maybe four shots and stop or spray one phase of bullets then get mowed down like they simply need to shoot till they’re enemy is dead lol

    I wish that you could ping individual enemies that you have your sights on, to alert your squad or to order them to fire on that particular element, I wish there was a system based on their level and distance to enemy + what kind of weapon they have, like if they had a bolt action- they would have like a 20% chance to hit at like 100m or something like that, Enlisted sometimes feels empty because the AI doesn't engage as often or as far, like you go to assault a position over open ground, and only like 1 guy (the human) is returning fire from you (the other human) I wish that squads would aggressively clash and open up on first contact

    Sadly usual D-day as allies is HE Wipe the whole Bunker with a Tank then Paras capping and hold with WP grenades 😂
    Youre solution is way better and would not destroy the whole D-Day experience 😅

    Yeah enlightened I agree. However I do believe that making it complicated is going to make new players not do it.
    The idea is great but I don’t think anyone but the 5 percent is going to use it and especially during the heat of combat.
    That said I love this idea, although it is quite revolutionary for the current enlisted

    I think this whole idea is really unnecessary. This is a MULTIPLAYER game and you (hopefully) have an entire team of real people to work with. Just communicate with your friend to suppress a location and push with your own squad.
    Your idea sounds like something for a singleplayer game

      Brothers and arms and full spectrum warrior were both single player and multi-player. It might be unnecessary though

    I would say that something like that could work. But it needs to be planned to see how it would do. The voicelines I think be great.
