    My heart went out to those boys left without parents, to that mother who has lost a daughter, and to that grandmother who will always have that ache in her heart for the granddaughter she loved so dearly. So tragic and meaningless when someone can do something so horrific to those he was supposed to love and protect.

    He is really sick! It's bad enough that he killed his girlfriend and then he killed his parents and their dogs for nothing! I don't care if he's a drug addict!
    Why in God's name would he do that?

    • @tarasue4432
      @tarasue4432 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Agreed. I feel the same way about the excuse of having a drug addiction as I do with a mental Illness. To do acts like this it’s common sense that you’d have to have some mental breakdown. But neither is an excuse. They are just easy ways for lawyers to excuse the act. It makes me mad because there is no justice for the victims or the loved ones of the victims.

      I first heard about the case via a video documentary posted by the England-based Coffeehouse Crime TH-cam man, who before I had viewed that documentary head posted various other murder cases that have taken place anywhere in Canada or contiguous US. Dustin Duthie had, before having been slapped with a life sentence for the murders he had admitted to having committed, had such severe behavioral issues that someone around him should have given him a strong incentive to seek professional help. That he is serving time in a Canadian Federal Penitentiary basically, because of his sentence, will give him no choice but to have to seek professional help because only by doing so will he have a chance of being ever granted conditional release by the Parole Board of Canada.

    There are just no words. May the surviving family members find some sort of peace. The determination of Adam and Jordyn to keep their parents voices with them as they continue forward is truly heartwarming and tragic at the same time. Their parents did an excellent job raising all their kids. It was only through the drug-fueled rage of Dustin that this happened in the first place. All young people should watch this video. So they know what the end results of such drugs can lead to. Just horrible.
    And I'm certain that Dustin, in his hopefully sober state in prison, is feeling the weight of his actions. Hopefully, he will advocate for young people to not take the same path. Perhaps then he may find some sense of retribution for what he has done. Dustin, could you do that for those who loved you? Could you do that to save another family? Another life? You cannot undo what you have done. But you still have to live. You might as well do what you can to help others while you serve your time. 35 years may seem like alot to you. But to others, it is not enough. Know that.

    I had grief and compassion throughout the story but I didn’t cry until the texts were shown.. from Jordyn to his dead father, his 17 yr old heart.. his goodbye. Man. Steroids and other legal substances are doing things to people.. that makes them wonder themselves why they did it. That’s when you know they were under the influence of *something*. It doesn’t make them less responsible but it SHOULD indicate to society that there’s a problem with the chemicals that people are using and maybe stop its production. Chris Watts.. underwent the same process. Once he was away from Thrive products and in jail he stated he didn’t know why he would have done that instead of divorce. Except he was under the *influence* of something. Again, it’s not to make him less responsible for his crimes. It’s to prevent the same crimes from happening again. And chemical drugs and reactions are lethal to society; why do we punish the people for what we’re allowing to happen. Especially when there’s plenty of evidence to the facts that steroids produces roid rage. The Benoit wrestling character who murdered his entire family also. C’mon people it’s not rocket science.

    • @audreymccormick677
      @audreymccormick677 ปีที่แล้ว

      Until we completely eliminate these drugs, people are going to abuse them and abuse or kill others. It’s impossible to get drugs out of people’s hands. The police found that D had presence of mind, that he was coherent when he called 911. He also said in his notes that he wanted to know what it felt like to put steel in flesh. He had been on steroids for a long time and he had to know he was a much more aggressive person

    The 8:30 mark features the beginning of a claim made by the mum of Dustin Duthie's 1-time girlfriend Taylor of multiple needles Taylor's maternal grandma had claimed to have found. I wish more schools across Canada would educate primary and middle school kids on the disqualification of Canadian Sprinter Ben Johnson from the 1988 Summer Olympic Games for having used steroids to try to win a gold medal during the final of the men's 100 m race. It's telling that even before the 1988 Olympic Games, the International Olympic Committee had banned the use of stanozolol, an anabolic steroid that test of his urine how determined Ben Johnson had been using in the days and weeks leading up to that race. For Mr Duthie, using steroids meant going into rages and damaging the lives of so many people around him but also his own. He will, even if released from prison, never again be free of the life sentence he is serving.

    This comes from my heart, my memory and years of experience communicating with otherworldly beings.
    All this people and dogs are still alive because we are not our bodies. There is no such thing as death. Our bodies are something like vehicles/tools to be able to participate in this material world. When our bodies are destroyed, we are still absolutely existent, just no longer visible to physical bodies and tools.
    We can easily stay in touch with our deceased if we didn't write them off as "dead". However, our deceased are not allowed to contact us from the afterlife; this contact must first be desired intensively by us in order to be possible. Free will is not a joke, it is the heart's desire that is necessary for every experience.
    These beautiful souls are healthy, happy, young again and among many friends and families where they now live.
    We will all see them again soon and remember that living and dying does not have to be as difficult as many believe. 🙂 💕☀️

    Unfortunately no one can get anybody off drugs and alcohol. The only person who can get anybody off drugs and alcohol is the addict and alcoholic themselves. The addict or alcoholic is the person who has to want change and help. In recovery from alcoholism and prescription medication addiction for 13 plus years. I had to make that decision. No one could make that decision for me.
