I agree, Mitch, the shoe tongue threw me off a bit when I first saw them. But everything else looked so 🔥. And having them in hand, I don't find the purple nearly as loud and I've come to love the execution of the colour way. Great pick up man, and I hope you enjoy your pair! Most underrated and slept on for sure! Makes them an easy pick up for those of us who actually love the colourway though. So glad I got a pair, it's a very versatile shoe.

Most underrated I agree. I love 'em. Funny they're underrated, but they sure sold out in the States...so SOMEONE must've thought they were hot. Besides me!
These are growing on me. I really was not feeling them at first but I am fan of the 5s. The 23 on side is what is really drawing me to them.

Hi Neal. I'm always excited when you review a shoe that I picked up. I love this shoe and enjoyed your review. A couple months ago, I gave away my first pair of 5's because it started to fall apart after having it for about a year. It was the Satin Bred 5's. That shoe was significant to me because of what the lead singer of my favorite rock band said to me while backstage. He complimented me on my Satin Bred 5's which I'll never forget. After giving those shoes away, I just knew I needed another pair of 5's. That's when the Top 3 came out. Luckily Shoe Palace had one last pair in my size. Comparing the Top 3 and Satin Bred, the Top 3 wins hands down. I like the 3 color ways in one mash up. I think of it as 3 shoes in one. The purple is a bonus for me because I rock it with my Kings gear. Its a shoe that is flashy which fits my personality. Great review Neal. 5 stars all the way.

That's totally fair man, I initially was hesitant about how these would turn out until I had them in-hand. The purple is a lot more subdued than some earlier images I had seen. But for sure, if these were a straight mash up of just the Metallic and Fire Red...those would be FLYING off the shelves haha.
