    With a newly painted aircraft, some internal fixes and without a working autopilot (That’s due soon) we fly another International IFR flight to explore Rotterdam for lunch.

      44hours in 2022 already after my recent trip & revalidation. Should be on 55-56 after Ibiza.

    Loving all your IFR trips to the Continent. So awesome to see London treat you as a "Real" IFR flight.

      I also love it, couldn't you tell 😉 Some big trips in the edit pipeline. Spain non-stop, Prague & Germany. Ibiza hopefully too.

      Benefits of a FPL in the IFPS. You are treated no differently

      @@TheFlyingVLOG I did my PPL in 91 at EGTO in a Robin DR-400..... We were planning a trip to Malta but it never came off..... Different world back then, no GPS, no ADS-B, no moving maps or AP or EFIS displays.

      @@MrSeebsy I bet it's hugely different and such an experience. I wonder if anyone vlogged back then and could rescue the footage and put it online?

    High workload good to have a buddie.
    I'd like to see a video on your flight/route planning and flight plan filing

      I did have some footage on this trip but it sounded awful so it didn't make the edit, let alone the cut. But soon I will ✈️

      Without an Autopilot it's hard work. Yes

    Is 71kt cruise climb the slowest among all 4-seaters?

    • @TheFlyingVLOG
      @TheFlyingVLOG  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Usually 73kt for cruise climb. But in relatively still air we use 71kt. I usually do 75kt and if bumpy, especially in IMC or convection I pitch for 80kt.
