This is great, but you didn’t include how to paint up that beautiful crystal base! Also, what 3D printer and slicer do you use? The model came out amazing!
Thank you! Oh I can make a tutorial on that sometime! I used a Sonic Mega 8k at the lowest layer height I could get (0.03mm) and slicing it in Chitubox. I think a big part of getting good prints is the orientation (having the detailed parts of the model not need any supports). I really appreciate it!
@@iPaintSmallThings That makes a lot of sense! Do you split your minis into sections and glue them together after the fact, or as one big model? I’ve started getting into 3D printing and while i only have an FDM printer, i think models will come out pretty good if i use a small enough height!
@@ecksdee1889 I try to print them in one piece just cuz sometimes gluing resin together can be a pain! A lot of the times models already come in separated pre-supported pieces, though, so I'll just do that as well. Whatever is easiest at the time! There are a few good videos out there about printing minis with FDM and they get pretty great results! Also, terrain is amazing to print out on an FDM-- so that's exciting!
man i love that intro, the rest of the video too obviously but the intro tickles my brain just right, great stuff
haha I really appreciate that! It was fun to make :D
Can I hug him? He looks so silly
You absolutely can hug him
Great work looks cool asf😮
I really appreciate it!!
Looks great! For an easier time edge highlighting, I like to use a smaller brush, it means that any mistakes made are also smaller!
That's a great idea! I'll try that next time. Thank you!
This is awesome my bud.
Thank you m8!
Looks great.
Thank you :D
