Best duo. Always looking every week for this content
Jeez. watching gamespot talk about game studio closures with a lo-fi hip-hop remix of moonlight sonata. Even the sound engineer is depressed.
Oh and Gnossienne! we're going deep sad.
“Pretty” shirt, Lucy! I, of course, love it.
They wanted to succeed with gamepass but still be a console maker too. If gamepass was to succeed to it should have been accessible on more than just Xbox and PC.
Lucy is so cute

Anyone else get a This Week on Xbox ad after the video?
I guess the closed studios where not worthy of their name anymore bc all talent left especially at arkane. Maybe tango wanted hifi rush 2 but it was too expensive for what they could pull off and didn't want to do Evi within 3, since the director left before.. and ghost wire was a technical mess...
Can anyone tell me what music they have in the background. I need that chilled synth Chopin in my life
I honestly dont understand how any of you are surprised
If a studio is being closed, then it should be fine to pirat the games that studio has made. F the publishers, I buy games to support the creators, the studio who has been slaving away to make the thing I like, I will happily give them my money to support them. If the studio itself is gone, well I am not rewarding the publisher who has taken away the studios I liked.
Why spend big and buy a studio only to shut it down? Doesn't make any sense, unless it was done without any foresight or idea of what to do.
Ninja Theory, Obsidian, InXile, Rare, Double Fine: ha ha, we're in danger.
Also, Microsoft is a multi-trillion dollar corporation.
...in danger of being shutdown or turned into Call of Duty or Bethesda support studios.
Microsoft is a multi-trillion dollar corporation, but Xbox by itself is not. I don't get why so many people don't understand this.
@@AlbertPatrick And XBox is a part of Microsoft. Where do you think the money to buy all those game studios came from?
@@AlbertPatrick Xbox has made Microsoft richer, that's why Bill Gates was smart to introduce it, because he knew that was the future for Microsoft.
so they can't just cut out the Xbox, that would result in Microsoft possibly closing there doors.
Windows is not enough to keep Microsoft going, it's not like the old days.
no what they'll probably do is get rid of some people,
but the Xbox is gonna be what they want it to be, and Phil Spencer knows it. but he's been an embarrassment for them, so he will be replaced at some point, with another crony that'll continue the same BS.
And Sarah Bond will be that person, that's why she's there.
@@KingOfMadCows Xbox is Xbox, and Microsoft is the parent company. The parent company allowed Xbox to play around with an allowance. Xbox's allowance wasn't quite enough to buy all the toys, so they had to ask Daddy Microsoft for more money. MS said "I'll give you the money, but I'm going to make sure you earn it back," so Xbox said "okay, I'll do whatever you say from now on, if you let me buy that really popular toy."
What, do you really think Playstation can just use all the money that Sony has as well? It's not that simple.
God I hope hellblade will be good. It's the only game I've been looking forward to
Missing on games sales mmmmm? Now how many years have we been waiting for gears or any Xbox exclusive? Whoever did the roll out for next gen at Microsoft should be fired
Maybe we're all wrong. Maybe the developers Microsoft fired didn't have any new projects to work on, no new ideas at least.
Those executives should take a pay cut first
Phil and the rest of the Xbox executives need to go, they are clueless
And they wanted to buy Nintendo and Steam??? HAH!
Subscribed to gamepass pc because starfield day one. Surprise you still have to buy it if you want dlc. Game saves to the cloud when changing to other pc to play at night, takes 15mins (steam 15 secs). At last patch gamepass froze at 25% download, after 2 hrs updating and reinstalling gamepass and microsoft store etc uninstalled and cancelled and migrated saves to steam in 15 mins. Not one problem since.
Lucy, that shirt is fuckin' *tight*
Keep representing! Lol
Xbox or more likely MS Gaming will become a third party publisher. All the M&As got them in the hot seat and the flawed subscription service model they bet their ecosystem on is not suitable for the medium of video games.
Xbox needs to hire Jim Ryan
Black myth wukung get it🎉
Fingers crossed for next Elder Scrolls on PS
Pretty much a guarantee
We all like Phil Spencer but sometimes things have to change soon enough
Gamespot is still around ?
I got a Hellblade ad on this video.
I've been playing The Evil Within again :( but I also downloaded Prey and HiFi again
IF GAMERS DON’T BUY GAMES, THE STUDIOS WILL CLOSE. 😃
IF GAMERS BUY GAMES, THE STUDIOS WILL CLOSE. 😀
Buy all the competition and now they're upset there's no competition from game companies? 🤣
The Fallout of Xbox, makes sense😂
Awards do not equal sales sadly.
Rip Xbox 🙏
Business strategy: sell more old games and shut down studios. The future is lookin good!
I really need this remixed version of Moonlight Sonata! where can I find it? help me pls :O
Nice T-shirt.
Ahh, Arkane the marmite of developers. Hopefully they’ll get together and form a little indie or something
The future doesn't look bright for gaming.
Xbox X Steam Deck
Watching this on my tv with a PS5 hooked up underneath it..🍿
i never had the game pass, if we came to a point where they control all the games and internet is always required , we as consumers are f#####. they could do whatever they want , we had to swallow it. all streaming stuff isnt for me.
I hate that useless Microsoft shutting down the game studio without reason.
There’s plenty of reason
What's on Lucy's shirt? That an album cover?
I'm buying an Xbox series x and a gamepass ultimate subscription this month. I live in Iran 🇮🇷 by the way 👋❤️
Suits and shareholders don’t belong in gaming!
She said Microsoft is a multi billion dollar company lol
Microsoft is a 3 trillion dollar company.
Trillion = multiple billions.
Microsoft do this kind of thing since the 90’s, this is their company culture. Anyone could see this coming, but their multi-trillion lobbyists won.
Nice shirt
Is that the dude that gave Deathloop 10 out of 10 "Masterpiece"?
He's a shill.
The gotta pay for COD some how
Bring halo and gears to playstation
Just an onslaught of awful news since they bought Activision, it’s exhausting if you’re following it
All we need.os COD on gamepass
Did you guys made the same video when Sony, rockstar, embracer shut down the studio
IDK, did those companies just drop millions of dollars buying new studios only to close them?
@@noteasybeingweezy after acquisition -
arkane austin released redfall, which is simply worst first party game xbox has released in their entire brand history.
tango gameworks's ghostwire tokyo - not well sold, hifi rush - it was critically acclaimed, but not making profit.
Xbox didn't just shut them down after acquisition, they saw their results for 3 years.
They might closed them in the 'corporate view'
Xbox gave arkane austin 1 extra year of time to polish redfall but they did nothing.
I'm also the one who thinks xbox shouldn't have shut them down and gave them a second chance.
Because I really loved hi fi rush and prey.
And I think this is very wrong corporate decision.
but all the gaming media blaming xbox for whole week? When all the gaming industry is doing the same?
I don't know, it just seems like a clickbait
I also think this is very biased 'media dicision'
Did they made the same 'exclusive blame video' when
other companies did the same?
Not in my memory.
Embracer group is the one right fit in your criticize - spend millions of dollars buying studios to close them.
Because they actually did. After the acquisition, Embracer group's studio had to shut down and laid off even before the new game release, because of the embracer.
I thought you were Jessica for a moment,
