I always find it strange whenever fire alarm signals have horn/chime/speaker only models right next to strobes. Like, hello, they put the two together for a reason!
In case anyone has trouble understanding the message since IMHO the male version is harder to understand it's saying "There is a fire emergency in the building. You are to leave the building by the nearest exit or fire exit stairway. DO NOT USE THE ELEVATORS!"
Thanks for the correction! I have a really hard time memorizing simplex numbers. My school has MASS, SpectreAlert Classics, and EST Genesis. The Genesis alarms are for the new high school, but the older alarms are slowly getting replaced by Add to dictionary Advances.
im 9 and my school couldn't hire one of those people who know how to control the fire alarm and since I knew how i get to do it i get to pull it during a drill i have the fire alarm pull stations reset keys and get to use the control panel and the panels keys also there was one time were i had to pull it for real because there was a fire on the closet for some reason but they trust me not to pull it falsely because i haven't done it before
@@Tigers9596 sorry for another reply but i just let you know i moved from lucas county in maumee or toledo to bowling green findlay which it was wood country but i am in ohio. however i had est and simplex voice evac in mega nz with 10 languages this time and official simplex voice evac messages which i found in some websites.
They are usually used in larger buildings such as airports, malls, train stations, colleges, stadiums/other venues, etcetera, where an alternative alarm system is needed along with the fire alarm. I also believe they are common in states in the Midwest that are susceptible to tornadoes.
Simplex Evac systems always seem so quiet compared to the EST evac systems I've heard in person.
How Loud Is It.
That is a super cool setup!
Yup!
In intro I had my bit of self humor..
Siplex
ahahhaha. The only reason why I be laughing is because it is a inside joke.
I like that code 3.
I always find it strange whenever fire alarm signals have horn/chime/speaker only models right next to strobes. Like, hello, they put the two together for a reason!
I can see the speaker strobes are addressable due to the blinking red led in them
i like those speaker strobes!
did the inspector also tested the "ALERT" strobes?
We did test the alert strobes but I wasn't able to upload it.
it's an interesting setup
SimplexFireAlarmEnthusiast Indeed.
OOH! SIMPLEX 4906-9211 DUAL STROBES! Nice catch!
Yup. Thanks!
Sounds like the alarms at Toledo Express
Yep! They are pretty much the same alarms as the Toledo airport alarms.
That's not my problem.
In case anyone has trouble understanding the message since IMHO the male version is harder to understand it's saying "There is a fire emergency in the building. You are to leave the building by the nearest exit or fire exit stairway. DO NOT USE THE ELEVATORS!"
just exit stairway not fire exit stairway oops!
Notice How The Alarm Tone Does The Alarm Tome Eight Times Instead
I'd like to see that alert system in action.
It's nothing special. It's basically the strobes flashing and a repeated announcement.
Sirens & Aviation Well, still. That'd be pretty cool to watch. BTW is your profile pic the Mod at Clemson?
***** Yesah.
What does the announcement for the alert system say?
Gary Beltz There are like 10 different announcments.
Is the alert for tornadoes, or something to do with lockdowns/lockouts?
Yes
Warning Sirens & Aviation so which is it?
...both
Warning Sirens & Aviation oooooh gotcha
@@Tigers9596Is it also for Carbon Monoxide?
That message must be new - I've only heard them on newer 4100ES installations.
What is the alert strobe used for?
Emergecnies that aren't related to a fire. For example; Tornado Warning, Mass Violence, HASMAT.
lot better than the buzzers or horns :D
Almost like Simplex 4100u bell test except they doing voice evac one time and code three at three times.
2:36 They really need some new lights fitting
What's the intro song lol
Angel Raya This Could Be Us- Rae Sremmurd
At the beginning, you misspelled Simplex, and Truealert.
Why aren't the gold strobes flashing?
Those are for non-fire emergencies like active shooter and so on.
That is a different system that we activated seperatly.
what type of panel was it
4100
Nice and quiet. They need some horns in there lol
They used to have TruAlerts
Horn stobes and 4050s with that silver light plate.
Was the system changed over to a 4100ES with voice evacuation? That message is one I've heard on a lot of 4100ES systems
Gary Beltz Yes.
Oh, you mean Simplex 4050-80s? My school used to have those, but now they just have a Fire-Lite system with boring SpectrAlert Advance horn/strobes

How Loud Was That.
not that loud.
@@Tigers9596 What kind of alarm tone was that for the Simplex
@@jacobisworld9516 not entirely sure.
@@jacobisworld9516 The tone was Simplex's 500 hz tone
I Know But What Kind Of Alarm Tone This That. It’s Is The Whoop Tome Or Code 3 Tone.
Interesting!
Nice

Nice! I bet that's really fun to do!
What alarm system does your school have?
new voice messages cool.
I don't think they're new rather they are a different message. I could be wrong though.
yeah same panel but new and different message.
@@Tigers9596 indeed it is now either upgraded to 4100es it's 4100u

@@josephfrye7342 good deal
Nice code 3
simplex dual is the best WS&A
I agree.
Those speakers are not loud at all
You’d be surprised. They weren’t bad. Some were pretty punchy.
I think the pull station is broken.
If the pull station was broken, the alarm wouldn't activate........
Warning Sirens & Aviation What about the key? I believe the key is stuck.
What do you call it in code three?
It wasn't stuck, the operator was just twisting it the wrong way.
And yes, it was doing code 3 + voice.
At 0:10 it said Siplex XD
Fire
?
Cool!
Thanks!
Misspelled simplex
Lol
Damn, never even noticed that lol.
What is the alert strobe used for?
Any emergency that requires people to take action that's not a fire.
I never seen a alert strobe in a building
