I came across your site one day and now I'm addicted to couponing! It is so much fun and before the whole coupon thing, I would spend tons of money on all these products. Now I can get them for free or practically free. love it!! It's so great getting all those free samples in the mail as well. It's like a different surprise every week. Thank you for all that you do. :)
Hey Ms. Tina! I followed your advice and went out and got my zipper bags and you're right....it does work! I am more organized and ready to go at any time! You're a Godsend. Thanks dear!
Wow!!! I'm so glad I found your channel! I did the binder method - completely organized it as a newbie. Then it was taking too much time for me. I stopped after being diligent for several months. I knew I want to do the filing method after more research but still felt I couldn't get my head around the actual process of what to bring to the store. I have 1 pencil bag and my list but it's genius to have a separate bag and ones that have a separate pocket in front!!!! I started back couponing a couple weeks. And now your video just answered everything!! I'm excited to binge watch, learn and follow you and your website! #instantfan!!!
Thank you so much for all your useful tips.. I love all the information and very detailed... I am new to your channel but have been so happy and you have made my couponing adventure so much easier and more sayings... Went to CVS over the weekend had a 52 dollar bill and only paid 13.86 .. I was very excited and all stuff I use and needed... Thank you again I greatly appreciate it..
I was watching another couponing guru regarding how to organize your coupons and they mention using the binder method, I just thought that's too much work. I definitely gonna use your filing method, just seem so much easier especially for newbies like me. Also, liked the pencil pouch idea and bring the file case with you when you go shopping. Great video Tina!
I thought these ideas were brilliant! I so often can't find my gift cards or the right coupons when I need them; I love how these methods address those very problems.
My Mama Use To Use Coupons For Everything She Saved A Tone Of Money Every Week, Now Times Are Hard So Now I Am Starting To Cut My Own Coupons So I Can Save Money To. Thanks For Your Information.
Omg I'm a newbie to all this, this video cleared up a lot of questions I had. Before I could not figure out what was meant by SS, RP and 1/4 etc. I definitely want to watch more videos, and can't wait till this all flows so easily. Thank you.
Free Stuff Finder Cool! I'm so into organization too, otherwise it will stress me out. I need to find these window pencil case. I also like to keep order with color. Thanks!
Tina...just wanted to say I just watched your video on why you coupon. I was in tears. You are amazing. I went to TARGET and picked up the free expecting a baby bag...You inspire me and help me EVERYDAY. Thank you so much. You are loved and respected in my heart. Respectfully, Melissa Chochard
I love your videos! Will you be putting one up this week?! I could sure use the help for my couponing trip coming up this weekends. We have a CVS and a Target but not really any of the other stores like RiteAid, Costco, etc. I hope you do a Target or CVS video this week! They are sooo helpful!
Hi Janel! I won't be doing a shopping video this week, but I will likely do one next week. But even without the videos, you can see a list of deals on my blog. For example, here are all the current deals at Target: www.freestufffinder.com/store-deals/target/ (Click on the top post to see all the target deals based on the ad) Similarly, here are all the CVS: www.freestufffinder.com/store-deals/cvs/ :) Hope that helps.
Hi there! So where did you get your portable filing container and how much was it? Love that it has a handle and storage on top for scissors, sharpies & post its. Thanks!
absolutely love your videos. I have been wanting to learn how to coupon!!! it would really help a lot my puppy's food is 70$ a bag and it would help saving money on other stuff to have more food for him
I have promised myself that I'm using this week to get my coupons back in order. I'm going to attempt the filing system you use because the binder was not working for me. I found myself spending all Sunday clipping and sorting. My question however is on the filing system how do you know when to get rid of old inserts. I've notice some coupons will expire before others....
This is great! I subscribed. I hated the binder method. I want the coupons clipped and divided by store before I go in. This is perfect. I even have one of those file boxes I got at a thrift store for $4. I washed it and it is ready to go. Papers come tomorrow so I am ready! Thank you.
Quick idea popped up instead of using post it notes try using chalk board labels and chalk board markers. I'm about to give it a try. I will be organizing my coupons like this for sure. Thanks for all the great info. How many weeks does coupons usually last before you throw out an insert?
Deana lovellette Good idea!! I'm also gonna checkout another comment here that suggested using "One Label". Thank you! I keep 12 weeks' worth. Anything older, you can thumb thru and pull out unexpired coupons and keep them in one misc folder. most of the time, these coupons are not very interesting. :D
If you don't like to write on the tabs of the folders then place a label on it and you can place another one on it when you want to change it. Just an idea.
There is a product called Label Once which as a reusable surface. They have labels for all kinds of applications like freezer meals, folders, etc. I have used them for years for all kinds of things. These labels on plastic containers for freezer meals will go through the dishwasher longer than the plastic container will hold up for. They can be found on Amazon, or the product website.
Laura Herrera I use a coupon database to find out where coupons are. And if you follow my blog, I'll let you know which insert a coupon is in for a particular deal. You can access the coupon database on my blog here: www.freestufffinder.com/coupon-database/
This is really Great video! Thank you for sharing. All I have are those Zipbags and Im following your Coupon Organization Method from now on :) My hubby said , my coupons are all over in my car hehehe.
That's a great method of organizing our cupons but in the case of you running into a good deal and you don't have a binder with cupons what do you do? I ask because I think I'm going to buy the pencil pouches:-)
That's the trade off with this method. It's super quick upfront, but you won't have a binder with you for unexpected sales. So what I and other do, is bring the filing bin in the car with us, then if we need something, run out to the car to clip just those needed coupons. lol. :) Again, this method isn't for everyone. But for my girlfriends and my self who use it, it works for us. Also, people who use this method use a combination of this and accordion method, to help organize loose coupons. I use the pencil cases only for coupons I know for sure I will be using at a store. I like that it separate stuff for each store for me cleanly. Because reward dollars (ie. CVS, RR from Walgreens, +UP rewards from Rite Aid, and gift cards from walmart and target) adds up really quick and it can get cluttered really quickly.
Walmart does price matching on all their merchandise just look on their website search engine for "price matching", and follow the rules. Take the ads from other stores with you to back up your sales claims.
i couponing fir some time 3 years ago but i never understand how to really use a coupon to buy multiples and i still dont know it if some one can explain to me i be really thankful ☺
I'm really surprised that you don't have a lot of inserts since you have a ginormous stockpile. I was wondering what kind of deal you got from the orange subscription
lol I don't. I have 4-5 inserts from each week. They add up over time. Plus, if I know there's a deal I want a lot of in advanced, I'll order coupons from clipping services. But I haven't done that in a long time. 4 coupons per week is enough. :)
Wow, I guess I got caught up with the extreme couponers that does 10x as much and its quite overwhelming! But thank you! You are the reason why I have gotten so much better! I even made a video about your site.
katalyst552 I saw them. Thank you so much for the shout out. You are so cute! :) Really. It's so easy to get caught up with extreme couponing. especially if you are on IG. People's hauls have gotten bigger and bigger over the last two years. At some point, you have to be couponing for 20 hours straight just to be able to "compete" lol. I've been there and while it can be fun, you probably have better things you can do with your time. :) The pride that comes with the big hauls are short lived, and before you know it you have to one-up yourself. lol I wouldn't go with more than 5 inserts a week. And if you want more of a coupon, order from a clipping service. Doing just that you will accumulate a big stock pile over time. And then you have to go on a couponing break, because you have too much stuff. haha..
I used to cut coupons individually but i think its a waste of time because you won't use all of them. I just store the inserts in a box and use the coupon database.
I've added one step to sorting my coupons that you don't have because I drive a long distance to get to the stores I sort and I buy for each week I sort the pages and so all four pages would be stapled together so when I pull a coupon I pull all four of them I don't pull just one that's the only difference between my system in your system but I've been doing a pencil case system for the stores for a long time in addition to that I write my transactions on index cards so I know exactly how much I should be paying and how many ebc or extra bucks or Rewards or whatever I should get and I double check that before I leave the register and do that because I take two small children with me and I drive a distance to get to my stores and I'm on a fixed budget so I roll my eBC's I don't do them one big transaction like most of you
We always credit if a deal was submitted by a reader and we hadn't post the deal already. Sometimes, we have the deal already to be written, or already up on the site, and then someone submits, in that case we don't credit. Unfortunately, people take it personally. We are doing the best that we can.
That's the trade off with this method. It's super quick upfront, but you won't have a binder with clipped coupons with you for unexpected sales you see in a store. The binder method takes up more time upfront, but it would be quicker if you find unexpected clearances in stores. Pros and Cons to both methods. So what I and other do, is bring the filing bin in the car with us, then if we need something, run out to the car to clip just those needed coupons. lol. :) Also, people who use this method use a combination of this and accordion method, to help organize loose coupons.
I still don't get the point of filing an entire folder of unclipped coupons. Yeah, you don't spend a lot of time clipping, but how do you actually use them if you don't have a photographic memory?
I came across your site one day and now I'm addicted to couponing! It is so much fun and before the whole coupon thing, I would spend tons of money on all these products. Awww.. That makes me so happy to hear! Good luck! And nothing is set in stone, if it doesn't work for you, tweak it. :) Let me know how it goes.
I'm new at couponing and love watching your videos they teach me a lot! Thank you sooo much!

I like your videos, they are very helpful. I'm also going to try the pencil bags. They look neater than envelopes!
Where do you purchase that kind of pencil holders ?
Thanks for replying . I barely found you on TH-cam and I LOVE your channel . I will most definitely follow your blog :)

Tina is the best and so informative..thanks so much..
Where did you get that storage box?
Hi, How do you know what coupons you have and could use if you have them in the folders like that ??
Laura Herrera I use a coupon database to find out where coupons are. And if you follow my blog, I'll let you know which insert a coupon is in for a particular deal. You can access the coupon database on my blog here: www.freestufffinder.com/coupon-database/
How long do u keep them for
Hello, Where can we get the P&G insert?
Where did you get the box to store your coupons in?
Very nice. I will put your method in practice. Hopefully work for me too. Thank you very much.
This is really Great video! Thank you for sharing. All I have are those Zipbags and Im following your Coupon Organization Method from now on :) My hubby said , my coupons are all over in my car hehehe.
How would you know how many coupons you can actually use in each transaction? Is there a limit per store how many coupons you can use
Can you please leave the brand of your filing container?
I’ll be typing into Google, Fee stuff finder coupon schedule 2020! I’m here in 2020 baby 👏🏼😄 maybe a little late, but better late than never. 👏🏼🤗😁🙃
Where did you find your pencil cases?
You can get them almost everywhere. This batch I got from Office Depot. The last batch I had got from Walgreens during back to school. Hope that helps
TY!
I cut coupons I know I might use and have them ready in my binder. The rest I just keep then uncut in my binder just in case.

If you get an extra insert you'll keep it, but if you're missing an insert your call to complain. 😂

no how to organize receipts AFTer couponing!!!!!!!
I put receipt in the pencil bag dedicated for that store. I mention the pencil bags later in this video.
