I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: I found your channel when I was 13 for Physics and Chemistry. Eventually followed your maths videos too, right up until high school. I graduated last year and said “you do maths, physics and chemistry. is there anything you can’t do? I’m both happy and sad to say that I won’t be returning to your channel.” Yet, here I am, for music college 👍 I was trolled
Dude. Thank you GOD. Jesus christ man. Thank you so much. Was looking all over for how to solve for I. No one showed it. Until you. So simply. THANK YOU
you're saving my life again bro..God bless you. you deserve a lot..wish you a lot of happiness. this is the only video that helped me today..THANK YOU SO MUCH.LUV YOU.
An easy way to do the log without a calculator ( like on the mcat) for the problem at 1:10 is to say m+.n , where log( 4*10^7) so that 7+.4= 7.4. 7.4*10 is equal to 74, which is close to our initial value.
wave physics is killing me and my first test is in 2 weeks. the organic chemistry tutor’s been there for me in calc 1 and 2, he’ll carry me in physics too
2:50 - isn't it easier here by using the logarithmic law of log(m/n)=log(m)-log(n)? In this case it would be B/10=log(I)-log(I₀), ⇒ log(I) = B/10+log(I₀). Then solve I.
For the first equation determining dB I get -163.8, NOT 76. Either I'm wrong or this is wrong and I'm not sure which. Perform reset of calculator and it is now returning 76. So annoyed with the set up of the calculator.
Can you help me with this question? Suppose an egg is dropped from 50m up to the sidewalk. The splat takes 0.05s. Nearly all the gravitational potential energy the egg had originally is converted into thermal energy but a very small fraction goes into sound energy. Let's say this fraction is only 6.7582.10 to the power (-11). How loud is the splat heard from the point at which the egg was dropped
a line source doenst expand in a shpere like the point does. so calculating the surface of a line source would need a different formula. though in reality line sources are pretty rare. they only occour close to the soundsource.
How the hell are you getting these answers. I've typed these exact equations into my calculator a bunch and have gotten almost every number but 7.6 as an answer

dude you're a legend amongst the college community
he is in highschool community

Big facts
bro in which country they teaching this in college ? we have to study this in highschool, damn I'm coming to your country.

Do u knw bsc physics?
Finally I watched something useful
It's 2021 and I'm studying for a physics final. Thank you for your help king.
its 2024 and im studying for a physics quiz xd
wave physics is killing me and my first test is in 2 weeks. the organic chemistry tutor’s been there for me in calc 1 and 2, he’ll carry me in physics too
Him + Khan Academy = 🔥
Thank you so much, you made me understand in 5 minutes what my teacher can not in one month ❣️
You made me pass my tests successfully 🙏🏼
You know you're saving my life now literally🌹
You're really good at what you do man
Doing vibrations in 4th year eng. Glad I can check out your vids for this course again.
Once again you're the greatest!...Thank you Sir
Thankyou ! I finally understand !!
You are a life saver!
Thank you so much from🇸🇦
Great explanation!!! Thank you!!!
thank you for this you are a life saver
Thank you!

Understood very well. thank you
Thank you so much beacuse my problem is solved after watching your video 😘
Thank you for this video
Great video this is a life savor
Thank you so much for your videos🙏🙏🙏
Physics 2 final tomorrow morning!!!!
Hey thanks for this video!! I finally understood how db loss is calculated with distance and i will site your youtubelink in my project!!
The hero for all
Thank you, I have liked and subbed
Thank you soo much
you're a hero.
this man is invited to all the stem parties
Another method would be to calculate the intensity and then use the applied Inverse Square Law.
this wasnt what i wanted... but i learned something
Man I just love you
Helpful indeed. Just FYI, you forgot to square the (R1/R2). you left it out @9:57
Tq
Thanks for saving my butt as I finish physics hw before my final lol
I got it now thanks
THANK YOU
Thanks 👍
Thanks alotttttt!!!
Are u doing bsc in physics?
I don't get it at 0:56. When I do log(4*10^-5/1*10^-12) I get 6.02, not 7.6 what am I doing wrong :(
thank you
Thanks....
5:55
The I formula ?
Then why you are using sphere formula?
3:11 i need help, how did u get 1x10^-12?
Helped me in the exam
thanks
Thanks for all. I have a question for you. How can I to reference the last equation? Is it a reference book?
For the first equation determining dB I get -163.8, NOT 76. Either I'm wrong or this is wrong and I'm not sure which.
Perform reset of calculator and it is now returning 76.
So annoyed with the set up of the calculator.

tnx man
You can you (I/Io)=10^(change in B/10)
Thx
Great
Bro just say if you go away from a speaker the decibel level will decrease and if you walk towards it then it will increase
Dont forget to like the vedio
Wow 😮
The threshold of intensity must be much lower for dogs - hence they flip out when fireworks go off. The perceived sound levels are higher. Am I wrong?
you're right
The music in my church is extremely loud. Is the sound person miscalculating the acoustics formula?
not like encased in stone or aanything like that right?
It's like mark whalberg is teaching me
is log 10 not equal to 1?? thanks by the way
What is the difference between point source and line source??
a line source doenst expand in a shpere like the point does. so calculating the surface of a line source would need a different formula. though in reality line sources are pretty rare. they only occour close to the soundsource.
What's the difference between total sound intensity and combined sound intensity level? Help please
so if you got two sounds happening at the same time, you gon hear their intensity added up
funny how i learn more here than at school... whats the point then going to school
godsend
Clutch equation
How the hell are you getting these answers. I've typed these exact equations into my calculator a bunch and have gotten almost every number but 7.6 as an answer
Dawg sameeee
when is attenuation given a negative sign
❤
Plz answer this
Anyone doing this in 8th grade or just me😅
Do you even make mistakes 🤒?
Why it is not given in our books
why did he use 4πr^2 as amplitude?
This is the area of a sphere, not the amplitude
Why dont I get the same result on my calculator
mfw the easiest math course my college offers assigns homework that is due 2 days before the final exam expects you to learn 2 years of algebra and apparently physics
What's software plz
You guys haven't tried physics wallah yet?
have some of those soro sisters come put that pink all on me
I really wish he explained how he went from the 1x10^-12(10)^50/10 to 1x10^-7 w/m^2.
Makes no sense.
1x10^-12*1x10^50/10
50/10 = 5
10^-12*10^5
a^m*a^n = a^m+n
10^-12+5 = 10^-7
Its less useful more head ache...
Bhai Hindi me VEDIO BENAYA kero
chutiye fir hindi k videos daykhna yhan english k vids pe q click kiya
quite poorly explained, i'd advise not just assuming the audiance knows how log works right off the bat.
Now you know why MOM told you not to skip school!
well this is for a physics class, not basic algebra. Would you also like him to explain every other detail of the equation?
Thank you
