amazing guide. i've been overwhelmed to start summoning on my iron but you covered literally every base with this video. now im actually excited to grind it out
@@shadowlin5809 accidentally stumbled upon your channel's POF guide and recognized the layout of the information tables. you guys really do make the information easy to digest
The only thing I can say that would be beneficial to add to this is if you plan on getting blue charms from arch glacor and using geyser titans he does drop a lot of notes water talismans anywhere from 3 to 55 noted and at a common drop rate on my trips doing 0-mechanic ag to help with boss kc for wars retreat unlocks and collect blue charms I typically pull more water talismans then blue charms that may not be the case fighting 5-mechanic or hard mode ag but I figured it would be worth adding
Awesome guide mate :) Just push slayer, the sharm drops will keep ur slayer and summoning level the same. Works for me anyway. 89 slayer and 90 summoning banked atm :) Also did some E3 that you also talked about
This is great. I've been struggling with getting summoning up to 75 for prif. I normally play f2p, so I never had the over time accumulation of charms and materials most people had. One small suggestion, if you ever make an update to this table, I'd suggest including secondary costs as well. Or at least note it for the strange plants. 2448 strange plant pouches is another 2.4m on top of the shards cost. And you don't even make back 70% the shards cost from exchanging it at bogrog
Hey Thanks a lot for the guide. I was wondering what sort of level you started crushing charms with imp? I have 75 banked for Priff using up all my current charms - do you think I should just crush all golds / greens from now on? Feel like I can just use the familirisation buff / slay to farm crimson and just use granite? Ty :)
so i actually started crushing charms when i reached 99 but that's only because i didn't know that was a thing. it would prob be a good idea to start crushing greens and golds now since you have 75 banked because the xp from crafting compared to how much they cost aren't worth it. so just train with crimson and blues moving forward. i wish i knew i could crush them a long time ago it would have saved me gp.
PSA Many things said in this video/guide are wrong and would lead people into wasting their precious time. I will try my best to tell you what you actually should do as an ironman. TL:DR 1-77 Do anything you want. Try not to waste red/blue charms. Only use these if you have to push some levels for a quest requirement or things like that. 77-83 Granite lobsters. Again try to safe blue charms unless you really have to push for something. 83-96 Granite lobsters and LAVA TITANS (not minotaurs as mentioned in the video!) 96-99 Pack yaks and lava titans. More Information for the Doubters 1-77 w/e who cares, literally takes just a few hours, not worth debating about that 77-83 how to get so much granite? you have 28 inventory spaces. use them like this: 1 empty spot, 1 familiar for additional space, 2 slots for urns (no exp waste) and 24 sign of the porters (IV if you can make them +1 worn). U dont need a water tiara (e) for this! U will survive the desert heat for long enough. Use golem equiptment and camulet teleport if you have that. Once all porters are used up, summon your familiar to get extra ~20 storage. You can expect 8500-9000 granite 500g in 3 hours. 83-96 why obsidian charms and not runite bars as mentioned in the guide? Well you will only obtain about 4.5 bars per minute farming runite/luminite ores and smelting those compared to 10.5 obsidian charms per minute. In my personal case i have to use 7000 blue charms on top of my 5500 crimson charms to get to 96 summoning. in this case it would cost me just 6.25 million gold extra to do lava titans instead of runite minotaurs. thats equal to 2 hours of ed3 farming and alching during the run (that does not interrupt your dmg). so the obvious choice is to do ~11 hours of obsidian char farming + 2hours of extra gold instead of 26 hours of mining and smelting. How to get charms? Just play the game 4Head. Just leech ed3 runs until ur 99 in all combat styles and you have enough charms and gold for many months of shop runs, construction training and summoning training. This will take about a week or two depending on how much u actually play. but u can expect 1mill combat exp per hour early on and 2mill from 80+. gl
The information in this video is not wrong. I just state paths that can be taken every step of the way for each specific charm if someone wants to use the charms that they have. The ones listed are there because the resources are easy to obtain for ironman. Just playing the game is great to earn charms but, some people want to farm for charms as well, so I'm catering to those people. Not everyone has access to ED3 leeching and not everyone can do the runs on their own. Hopefully by the time they're ready to use blue charms, they can run it solo, but that's not always the case since people have different play styles. For your other point, crimson charms are very easy to get so I don't see the point in hording them till level 77 since there are still very useful unlocks before hand like bunyips, war tortes, pigs, abyssal creatures etc. Also, by farming for the crimson charms, you're leveling up your combat to make yourself ready to farm blue charms. I do agree that using obsidian creatures with the blue charms are not as difficult to get compared to getting rune bars. So doing obsidian is a good method. Also using porters for gathering items are a good idea. The information you added on is a good add-on but it does not make mine wrong.
Pretty sure Spirit Jellys to 96 with blue charms is more efficient overall, as buying 3k jugs of water/day takes way less time than killing tzhaar. Just did this myself and was getting 3m+ per hour still, teleporting to Amlodd during hour and banking pouches and like I said only a few minutes to get 3k of them a day versus hours at tzhaar or mining for rune bars. I also spent an hour at tzhaar just to have enough lava titans for mining later on and wasn't getting close to 10/minute but that's beside the point.

that's a good suggestion thanks for the feed back!
Thanks so much!
What would be the pouches specifically that you’d recommend from 4-99?
Seems like the hardest part of 99 summoning is just trying to afford it on an ironman.
Very true it gets expensive fast.
just grind ed3, gp rolls in like nothing

The new Arch Glacor boss with no mechanics turned on is insane blue/crimson charms.
good to know! Thanks
'Almond hour' lol. Nice guide btw
Very nice guide
2:40 Almond hour
Are these prices including the 70% shard return?
no these are just the raw numbers without accounting for getting shards back
