- Started Grid #36 in rolling start group 3. Made up 23 positions for class win, fast lap of the race, and new Honda Challenge track record for Mid-Ohio Club Course at 1:39.137.

God damn, what's done to the Accord?
It's an Odyssey-sourced J35 with MDX 3.7 throttle body, titanium exhaust, 4-puck clutch and lightweight flywheel.

@@TheEmpoleon123456789 given that we dont run VCM and the engine gets a tune there is no harm in using the vanilla engine
@@avoidablecontact Curious which Odyssey engine you're using?
I have a 2003 6-spd and am swapping in a 2005-2006 Odyssey J35A6 into it. It's a direct swap. These are the only two engines that will work in my chassis.
I love learning about which engines fit into the different chassis.
What happened to your original engine?
@@andydhillon1977 This car was built by Andrew Rains with help from the Honda Alabama crew. They popped the original engine during testing then swapped in the block from an Odyssey J35. Not sure which one. The heads are from the Y3, I think!
No way! Class win? I guess in a class of one that also makes you the class loser right?
Well that's why I went ahead and set the track record. Just to make sure that everybody keeps staying home. But if it makes you feel better I took a Super Unlimited podium this year as well, in a 12 car class.
Looked to get past all the other classes quite easily.
