    Superb lines tracking through the traffic! Excellent showcase of forceful driving! Your car is a straight track weapon!🏁🏴‍☠️

      No it's a stock FP350S which is very similar to a GT350.

    It’s nice to have a power advantage over your competitors😂

      Yes it is! I come from racing a little BRZ with 180hp so this is a welcome change haha

      @@ryanfrahm776 I raced a Honda CRX in SCCA ITA. Maybe 110hp but 2100 lbs. Fun but it does get boring after awhile. Specially when SCCA raised my weight by 110lbs.

      @@ryanfrahm776 How does it compare with the BRZ for grip though?

    • @ryanfrahm776
      @ryanfrahm776  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@FairladyS130 Actually this car is very evenly mannered, even more than the BRZ. You'd think that it wants to kill you at every corner, but no, it's really pleasant to drive. If the BRZ had the same suspension setup, tires, brakes & electronic steering it would be better mostly likely because of it being 500lbs less. Highly recommend a BRZ for learning.

      @@ryanfrahm776 Interesting. Yes, with big power comes the big challenge not just to drive fast in a straight line.

    1st thank you for content.
    So you were placed in back of the Spec Iron field? Did you have a qualifying issue? We running AS SCCA thinking of the SPEC class for NASA but we would have to pull motor etc. Nice drive

    • @ryanfrahm776
      @ryanfrahm776  ปีที่แล้ว

      The owner of the car raced it the day before and the fastest spec iron car set a faster lap time then him, which is why I had to start behind them for my races. In the 2nd race of mine you will see I started ahead of spec iron just behind the BMW's due to my lap time.

    Do you think you had a big enough power advantage?

  • @brettls2

    White 118 almost ran you into the wall at 13:22, whether accidental or intentional is that legal?

    • @ryanfrahm776
      @ryanfrahm776  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, in order to make the next left hander you have to track all the way out to the wall normally and he gave me "racing room". You'll hear me hesitate on the throttle as I came up beside him because he kept coming over and I was ready to get on the brakes. This stuff happens in racing, and it happens so quickly that you don'e even really think or worry about it usually.

    Is everyone in stock street cars? Your 350 seems to walk around everything pretty easily. You have more traction and power than literally everything

    • @ryanfrahm776
      @ryanfrahm776  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's multi-class racing so it's a mix of faster/slower cars. Ahead of me on the start was quite a few fast cars like Porsche GT3 cup cars & some unlimited power Mustangs. Due to my previous lap time from the day before it put me back in the pack behind "basically stock" Mustang GT's. Behind me was a whole group of early 2000's Camaro's and Mustangs that are way slower and I eventually lap too. Makes for quite the fun adventure!

      @ryanfrahm776 bro what's the process in becoming a racer like yourself

    • @ryanfrahm776
      @ryanfrahm776  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rival3825 You can get your comp license through several clubs here in the USA. I went through NASA's HPDE program. There are 4 levels, you start at 1, and when you get to 4 you can test for your comp license which allows you to do wheel to wheel racing. From there any organization honors the NASA comp license pretty much and you're good to go. I bought a wrecked BRZ several years ago for cheap, fixed it up, and use that as my learner car... Which I HIGHLY recommend because it forces you to learn how to be fast otherwise you get gapped. Then when you show up in a competitive car you eat the field alive like in this video. Also, make friends with everyone in the paddock because that's how you get drives in other cars.
