I may have rushed things a bit with the recovery from having the hernia repaired. The incision site started to feel as if someone was poking me with needles there. Plus there were so many people that it was sorta short circuiting my brain a wee bit. So I decided to stay in one spot for the parade.

Fantastic architecture and a story behind every building and statue. Of course, where I live was once part of the Roman Empire - weird to think that sometimes. Yes, the hikers were a boisterous lot, but most were pretty friendly. I didn’t film as much as planned, due to the fact that my body wasn’t completely healed from the hernia surgery. Seems I have to do another cycle of chemo at the end of this coming week. Thanks again for watching. Chris, I appreciate it. Cheers to you and the lads. 🤙

It was pretty fun. I honestly don’t think I could drive one, except an automatic. Since my entire left side only has roughly thirty percent feeling, it would be tough for me. I miss riding dual-sport bikes and mountain bikes were also a passion of mine.
It’s always a good time. In years past, the festival went on for two weeks. These days it is basically only two weekends. One is for yard sales and the second weekend is the hiker parade.

I’ve had an interest in the Roman Empire since childhood. Only my love for Japanese history is equals it.

I think the poking needles feeling is normal. Mine lasted months on and off until the flesh took to the hernia patch. Great vid! 🍻😎
