    Thank you for explaining why odd count is worth it! I do like having a center bead. Odd count kinda makes it even and symmetrical.

      Yes! I avoided odd count for years and but finally gave in when I realised the possibilities it could open up for me.

    Thank you for showing us. Some videos have really nice projects done; they just show how they do it but not the technique, and obviously they had to learn it from somewhere.

    First your kitten is adorable. It’s ok if she makes appearances in your videos. It will be fun to watch her grow. I love the colors of this bracelet. Thank you for sharing. 🌸

    I created a better way to add the bead at the turn around by coming up the bead on the left instead of bringing the needle from the back and through the thread bridge this way I next add to the bead beside it and come up the left bead again and down the new bead, it makes everything even and secure.

  • @sarahasante6794

    But how do you continue when the thread gets finished on the way

    • @snailsandfairydust
      @snailsandfairydust  20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      If you watch the whole video, I add an new thread towards the end.

    Hello, love your teaching, lovely work and designs, and high quality videos! I do other jewelry making, stringing, and already familiar with using fireline in fly tying. Observing seed beading, ready to decide a project. Question/help: Wouldn't it be easier to leave a longer initial tail to have the needed length to finish the starting end without ending and beginning another thread? I consider being gentle with handling to minimze potential damage to it while working to not create a weak point in the line, just like I do handling same brand line for fishing. Thank you for the video, cute kitty cameo, and any help from you or others inputting here.

    • @snailsandfairydust
      @snailsandfairydust  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Thank you for your kind words! You definitely could make the initial tail longer. I just worry with people new to beading that it would be one extra obstacle to get tangled up in.

    • @sacrebleu1371
      @sacrebleu1371 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@snailsandfairydust Thank you. I have a solution for keeping long tails from interfering, so no worries there.🤗

  • @TheDspatterson4

    U used peyote stitches. Wonder u can use in loom which is faster?

    • @snailsandfairydust
      @snailsandfairydust  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can make a bracelet with a loom but you wouldn’t b able to use following this pattern because loom rows are in straight lines and peyote is staggered. Also peyote is a much more durable stitch.

  • @michaelawelsher

    May I ask you how you complete even count peyote stitch as a bracelet?

    • @snailsandfairydust
      @snailsandfairydust  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I usually only make bracelets with odd count so I can get a nice tapered end...I've never personally found a solution I like for ending an even count bracelet. I believe there are certain findings you can buy to slide over the end of the beads but I haven't explored them.
