Is there an option in AMS2 to manually adjust the boost pressure WHILE driving? Couldn't find anything, but that would raise the authenticity even more.
I'm wondering if the AI turned down the boost even more so then you did? Seems like the engine damage should maybe be increased a little more to force lower boost pressure and get cars closer to actual race pace if you were to do a full GP length race?
Agreed. Let's see what 1.4 brings in terms of further mechanical damage. In reality, they had their "steam wheel" to adjust the boost pressure. Apart from torturing the engine, more turbo boost meant much more fuel consumption.
@@TimoDick I'm on the beta so I have somewhat of an idea of what to expect with 1.4. The new mechanical failure system Reiza is implementing sounds promising. I hope they release a guide so we know what thresholds to avoid, or maybe push, before failures start piling up.
Can you tell me how to get the drivers names to appear? I have the mod, but cannot get the real driver names to appear. Also how to get the mirrors to work in AM2? I have tried to ne avail. Thanks form your time and great video!!
Thx, Micah. For the names to appear in AMS2, you will want to dl my Custom AI file from Race Department (link in description) and put it in the respective folder. Please read my File Page on RD for detailed instructions. Regarding the mirrors, that's easy: While driving, hit Pause. Then go to Options and then Cockpit Configuration. There you can adjust the mirrors (and seat).

Currently no, only an option to use a boost button.
Great to see you back home in F1! Perhaps when 1.4 comes out we'll see you do some 100% length races?
F1 will always be a factor on my channel. I am looking forward to the extended damage model and new race features such as full course yellow and SC.
1.4 will be EPIC!
@@darwinLee81283 here’s hoping! 🤞
Great vid timo
This will always be my favorite Monza layout.

Well you got your wish Timo, custom driver helmets in the next update.

Timo version 1.4 is out. But I think the ai will still have adjustments on wet.
Will you include your custom ai on race department?
Thanks
It's been out since the release of the video. But of course I will update it since Reiza just implemented Vehicle Reliability.
1:30 which clip/race was that crash from?

@@TimoDick Oh ok thank you. This time it wasn't Brundle who was hit on the head!
