Moving flat cars out of the yard at Eau Galle Scenic Railway

CFO Todd backs locomotive 120, Mathilda out of the yard with a couple of flat cars heading down the mainline.
The locomotive is a restored 1969 Hunslet from the Vale nickel mines of Manitoba. The flat cars come from the Baraboo Armory in Baraboo Wisconsin. Their trucks appear to be from the 40's or 50's while the steel deck frames appear to be much older, based on the construction style and the steel logos, probably from the 1910s or 1920s.
Our little Western Wisconsin railroad is a 36" gauge private project dedicated to the preservation and restoration of old industrial narrow gauge railroading.

GREAT video and thanks for sharing! What LOVELY land you own. Must have taken many years to lay down all the tracks. I bet it looks so pretty in the winter with all the snow. I have done some traveling in Wisconsin, mainly to The House On The Rock in Spring Green on solo trips and with my parents. What a VERY pretty state to travel in. Best Wishes from New Mexico! 😎

Yes, you have one hard-working crew there which is quite impressive. Keep your videos coming from lovely Wisconsin! (TH-camr train video fan and pro Brenton81 posts his wonderful train videos from your state, though I have not seen any new ones lately from him. I hope he is ok since we just lost Mark "Hobo Shoestring" Nichols in Tennessee who was the most famous hobo in the USA.)
