Making a split. What to look for after

Four days ago and made split out of my original colony. I removed the queen a couple frames of brewed couple frames of honey. Checking to see if the original original hive to make a new queen and checking on the split.

Lol, was that a bullfrog in the back ground? What dies the pollen pack do for them? What happens if you accidentally squish a bee? I noticed the activity of flying bees seem to pick up, why was that? Lol, you blowing on them and then started eating the honey. I was envisioning a swarm attack 😂

The pollen pack gives them nutrients that they get from foraging so since I don’t have any doing that, this is gonna help the colony. If you squish one, it releases hormones for the bees to start attacking they get a little upset. And I blow on them because they don’t like carbon dioxide so they move out of your way when you do that.
