the first time i heard this song i immediately related it to my anxiety and depression. it can feel like screaming into the void, having endless questions and no answers, having everyone around you think you’re crazy because your pain isn’t visible to them but it seeps into every thought you have. trying different medications and doctors and therapy and nothing works. there are moments when giving up feels like not just the easy thing, but the only thing you can do. i know our specific experiences are different but you write in a way where that doesn’t matter. your songs are deeply personal to your life but they can also be interpreted in so many ways, it feels like they’re about me. it’s hard for me to find music like that, most people don’t write about pain the way you do. it’s extremely therapeutic. thank you ❤

It reminds me of 2020-2022, when I wondered for months if I had a brain tumor (ruled out, fortunately) and had a bunch of other things going on that turned out to be EDS-related (low ferritin too). I suspected the diagnosis but didn't know for sure until I saw a geneticist, and I basically lost my mind while feeling awful and wondering about the brain tumor I didn't have in the meantime.

This song came up on Spotify through Christmas when I was having a rough time and I'm so glad. I've been mostly bed/housebound over the past 7 years as a result of a combination of illness and trauma and the EP was so relatable. I can't wait to hear more.

This explains this moment of my life. I have crohns but it’s in remission and I’m sick, in pain. Most doctors are thinking it’s small bowel syndrome, but had one jerk of a doctor told me take fiber it’s IBS. That broke me, than to have another doctor come and apologize for that jerk and agreed it’s not IBS.
This is such a haunting, beautiful, amazing song. Thankyou for giving voice to so many who suffer in silence. It breaks my heart you've experienced such awful pain. There's no words for everyone's own individual darkness, but your strength to endure despite the suffering is inspirational.

I believe she had a seizure followed by severe chronic pain. This song perfectly represents my experience as well! I woke up with a migraine one day which hasn’t gone away for even a second in the past 3 years (chronic intractable migraine). My whole life has been flipped upside down and this song makes me feel understood

Nope, "you couldn't tell," but it's been 3 full months trying to get through even a few days of acute healing for a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI, symptoms commonly called a concussion, but unfortunately mine are more severe & persistent), and I can't even find enough time to heal from that, let alone all the suppressed trauma and health issues that make me more like 75 internally. lol "But you'd never know..."
