I've never been on one of these tours. Would really like to though. But I think if u go back far enough in history, u would find that every place has it's own haunted history.
I wanted to go to the one tonight but I couldn’t, oh well some in September. I know Mr. Wolfe from playing Abraham Lincoln when I was in middle school, and he substituted for one of my teachers in high school a few years ago.

No history of these places, they go way back to 2000'ish! and he popped in some crap about the hangings at the court house in 1936, there were NO coffee shops or freaking bistros on 2nd prior to 20 years ago! Maybe the "Ghost of a sale at McAtees"
It’s not crap, it’s sad evil history that needs to be told. Notice how they don’t talk about the last hanging and how the Barbecue festival gets rained out every year. It was a young black man hanged last name was Rainey who was accused of raping a white woman. My late grandmother told us of all kinds of things that happened during Willie lynch era in Owensboro. The Wesleyan College lawn was Kkk rallies. Frederica street was named after a mullato ( mixed) slave a rich white man was in love with. Lots of innocent were hung and lynched downtown. I will not step foot on the courthouse lawn. Erie sad feeling. The abandoned black cemetery that they got rid of the stones on 9th is haunted. Most of the history they hide is only read about from journals from my ancestors and Kentucky room and of course passed down word of mouth. American native Indian burial ground location here in Owensboro is handed and sacred esp the area in English park where today you can still find arrowheads if you know how to look. Again any history concerning my ancestors are not crap.
