i don't know why rhino 7 when i want to split it like u do, it doesn't show the choice of cutting object. so i cant split it like you do in the videos.Sad
14:19 after you splitting the object into 2 objects along the loop edges. you got 2 objects just exactly same like before splitting. just 1 became 2. but when I did the same command like you did. I got 2 sharp corner objects. the forms are no longer the same like before. could you figure out what problem is with my model ? thank you very much bro.
@@3DBeast normally how will you model the seaming groove lines on the surface ? would you suggest modeling it in Rhino ? or maybe I will import the model into 3d max and fine tune to make the groove lines. which way do you think is better ? but sometimes we do need to model it in rhino right ?
@@raywong3184 if u want ur sub lines (sub d wires ) to become ur seaming groove, simply u can do it in grasshopper by the help of mesh from sub-d and make panel out of the faces (or convert to NURBS and play with it ), if its for visualization purpose only, UV mapping can also do with grid texture

what version of rhino 7 ur using? someone also asks the same question, maybe it's from an update

your split command must be an addon that with selecting edge loop. Rhino 7 original doesnt have this one

select edge or vertices of the sharp corners and type removecrease

you can but different processes, (SUb-d is not available in rhino 6 )
