this whole show is actually based on 3 different cases in korea. bullying is actually worse than this. one of the girls who was a victim in real life, she recently unalived herself bc her bullies harassed her after she spoke ab what happened to her after the glory came out
Omg I didn't know that, that's horrible! It's crazy knowing that this kind of bullying exists
The saddest part about this is that the real bullying incident this is about was way worse than the show.. and she didnt get revenge. But ive also heard that some parts are from other bullying incidents as well.
I really enjoyed the actress who played the younger version of dung eun she did a brilliant job
I completely agree, you feel no disconnect between the two actors😮💨👌🏾
Yes, as many good performances as there were in his show, the two actresses who played the teenage Dong-eun (Jung Ji-so) and the teenage Yeon-jin (Shin Ye-eun) absolutely dominated every scene they were in. Jung Ji-so was also in the cast of the Oscar winning movie Parasite, which I have yet to see. I did see her portray God in the K-drama Doom at Your Service. Shin Ye-eun was in another revenge drama, Revenge of Others, where she was one of the people seeking revenge. Haven’t seen that either, but Idid see her in He IS Psychometric and also in a silly fantasy drama called Welcome (Also know as The Secret Boy), where her character becomes involved with a man who is actually a cat. Not the greatest, but she was good in it. I just had to see her in another drama than the Glory, so would be able to picture her face as something else than pure evil.
@@fordhouse8b I really enjoyed parasite it's a good film
@@angelaholmes8888 Been meaning to watch it, just haven’t gotten around to it yet.
When you guys were talking about the bully’s mum and her upbringing. Just want to correct that it isn’t a cult but it’s Korean folk religion. Idk if you guys are African but it’s basically like their traditional religion essentially
12:48 Well you see this drama was based on real life! So the bulling part was based irl I mean all of it the way she got bullied!
Yeah I know!! Someone commented before, and I still can’t wrap my head around how someone could do that to another person!!! Especially in SCHOOL 😔

Since you seem to have a weakness for blood, I recommend Hotel Del Luna, a drama that doesn’t have anything like that.
We don’t mind watching that kind of stuff, but we’ll definitely put Hotel Del Luna on the list ❤️❤️
this is a real case in south korea.. all what it happens is true story
Someone mentioned this before, and I honestly cannot fathom how somebody could do this to another person
horrible and inhuman but until this days keep happening in South Korea@@KetsiaKeren
It is not. The story is an embellished composite of several bullying cases. In one of those cases the victim was so badly burnt thither tailbone was exposed, and she needed extensive hospitalization. Her bullies were let off with a slap on the wrist. Even in cases where the parents of the bully is not rich and powerful, punishment is minimal, simply due to South Koreas extremely lenient juvenile offender laws. And certainly not a single bit of the revenge plot was based on any real story.
After this, maybe you can react to a K-drama romcom? It's called "Twinkling Watermelon" and it's really fun, with a lot of twists.
Thanks for the recommendation! We'll definitely look into watching it!! ❤️❤️
