In Australia, we don't use the Y'ALL....but we do know it's kinda cool. In Australia, the 'translation' would be "Youse" as in the plural of YOU . But this is only true in a few States!

It’s a Farm truck all you need is a coffee can and some hose clamps to fix the exhaust leak that’s how all the farmers do it around here…you guys are awesome people god bless
I had a same fun experience as you guys. I’m building one of these soon. I bought a loadstar 1600 in Omaha Nebraska and drove it all the way to south east Iowa where I live. Guy said ran great. He was right. Made it all the way to Des Moines Iowa. Lost breaks. Drove through city of Des Moines 5pm traffic no breaks. Made it. But battery fell out from all bumps. Arced on the frame and blew up the starter as I was 55mp down highway. Push started it. Got it home

That was funnier than a cross-over episode of "I Love Lucy" and that "Brady Bunch" where Greg bought a clapped out 56 Chevy convertible. That was awesome; and at the end of the day, that old 350 started up again. LOL

This whole trip had me cracking up! When Hannah was ripping on the interstate and shes like what it's not going to blow up and rolls her eyes! I think the motor mounts were totally gone on it too, that clutch, throttle, gearshift thing having a mind of it's own lol !!!
Had to watch this a 2nd time 5/30/23. A couple of crazy people drive a Loadstar a few miles. Like 5 hrs later.

The little red pull button is the two speed rearend ,if you would of pull up o that little red button and let off the throttle it would of shifted into high gear , lolololol BigAl California thanks

I managed to hot wire it into high range but it was still a long, long trip.
Trying to find fuel at 10pm back then was a challenge.

I think you may find that the accelerator and clutch are on the same pivot, and they are activating the other, great road trip reminds me when I drove down to Adelaide from Alice Springs, only 1500km, had head gasket blow out,got head's sent down from Alice Springs, changed one under pump lights after the station closed, started it and the other head was gone aswell, changed that and drove the other 900km, all the best to yous and your loved ones

That is so funny. You guys where literally in my back yard when loading the Pt cruise up. I live on highway 35 I noticed the roads when you got to the flashing red light. Then I rewound it and seen you come through Hagerstown. Lol. Don’t know if you happened to pass my place and seen the yellow fire truck out front. That is going to be my build this summer Into a car hauler. Very small and cool town you guys loaded the car in, nice people and small town feel.

I think I saw a red knob next to the top of the gearshift. That's for the 2 speed axle. Shift to 4th gear then let up on the gas, pull the red knob up and it goes into kinda overdrive. FYI

Looks like you've got a broken motor mount every time you take off or shift gears your whole motor is moving so that pulls on the linkage rod going to the carburetor, God Bless

Im just a few hours north of you in IN. It is a common sight to see enclosed tractors with enclosed trailers on the road. The amish up here use them for everything. Eastern Elkhart county and western Lagrange county. Love the video. Quite the trip

Holy crap I would not even drive that down the road. Those tires are done and when the sidewall is coming apart yikes. Yeah, I’ve driven three trucks like that for over a ten-year period where I live. The nice thing about international is they are the most dependable truck ever built. The 1973 international is the oldest international we have on the farm and it’s a real head turner. People blow their horns at me wave at me all season.
Bought truck looked like yours brother or sister.. Had no brakes within 30miles. Montana to Minnesota!!

Normally when truck's are that low geared, they start off in second, unless they are loaded heavily, I think I would have changed that rear right outside, tyer/wheel, also was the diff in High range or low range,? glad yous made it back Home, all the best to yous and your loved ones
That was definitely entertaining to say the least! That was so sketchy to attempt in the first place. Reminds me of all the crazy stuff me and my buddies would do back in high school. Thankfully we survived it all too. I saw those tires and thought, surely they are going to change them out, they are going to blow for sure. Then to load what should have been your support vehicle onto the back of that poorly attached bed. I set on the edge of my seat just knowing it was going to go bad at any moment. Your anxiety must have been pretty high, I know mine would have been. You both did well not getting to uptight with each other considering the anxiety you both must have been feeling. I like how Hana didn't want to miss out and let Cory have all the fun! Great job! Will be a story you can talk about for years.
My wife and I (both 70+) watched your video last night and wanted to tell that we enjoyed it more that any video we've seen on TH-cam! You were blessed that your most majer disaster of the journey were a few plug wires and minor tubing. We look forward to your weekly videos. BTW - My wife grew up in Knoxville and is fully aware of the mismatch between "The Tail of the Dragon" and the "Viking". ;)
