I am 15 now and I love nearly every song from Yes. My dad always heard this song with me and my little brother. When anyone of us knocks at the door we sing the little door piece of the song. 🤷🏼♀️😂
This is a beautiful song!! My favorite on the new record. I am finding this new record is catchy. Can't understand the negative comments regarding this. It's a proper YES album.
I'm 15 and i love yes. My dad took me to see them do close to the edge and fragile live. It was amazing! They also performed this song, and now it's reminding me of the concert... Really good for new prog
That is awesome ! So glad that Yes reaches younger people... If people criticize you for loving Yes......just know that you love great music........ blessings
DUDE i was 14 when i was introduced to yes as well and now i'm 16 so know what the others mean I've been pleading my friends how great and fantastic yes music is rock on!

I can't understand why people hate this. Such a great song, and the other stuff on the album had some pretty nice things going on as well if you ask me.
touhouguyII Lol, hehe. I actually meant the old school Yes fans themselves. Most of them don't really seem to like it. But hey, good point about rap and stuff.
Simple. No Jon Anderson, and I'm sure Davison is a nice guy, but he's just not quite on par with Anderson vocally and in terms of lyrical contributions. To be fair, this album isn't necessarily bad. It's just not good enough to overcome the sour feelings about the departure of Anderson. Had Davison blew this away with his performance, then there'd probably be less criticism, but he just doesn't. It's not entirely his fault though. The instrumental work is disappointing as well, at least from a Yes perspective. Honestly, the big problem with this album is that it just doesn't seem to take chances. The composition and lyrical content just sounds very safe and conservative. Most Yes albums, they'd put their balls on the line and let their creative chops go to work on every piece. This one just doesn't seem to have that.
SuperSparrow45 That's all very true, and also the reason why this is not an absolute classic for me. Still I enjoy listening to it. Pretty chill. It's been quite a while though, I listened to it a bit too regularly back then haha
nice. the more i listen to it the more it grows on me. the band is still amazing, even if they are getting up there in age. hell so am i. chris does a great job with the backup vocals. thanks for posting.
Como sempre, o Yes faz seu trabalho com excelência. Os anos passam, os estilos mudam, mas a essência do belo e da excelência permanecem nesta maravilhosa banda.
@@scitsalcorypThat's Yes, for you. A very savvy band. There music was like that in the '70s. It would sound a little off, a little dorky. Then, as you listen, you find that there is nothing quite as smart out there. At least, that was (and is) my reaction.
Jon Anderson is one of my heroes, & when you think of it beforehand, you can be disappointed that it isn't real 'yes', but aside from those notions, it's quite a good song, beautiful even
What is ' real Yes ' .....Yes is whomever is in the band at the time . I understand what you are saying ....I like Jon a lot too . This dude is really doing a good job
Yes fan here. You can like it or not, but I don't question the artist, for it came from the guys I'm a fan of. I do not like ALL the songs in all the albums. As for this one, I love it.
Essentially, since Trevor Rabin left Yes has had a very hard time generating any traction in the general music market anywhere - they have only one single charting since he left - Open Your Eyes #33 on the USA Rock chart, immediately after he left (1997). Rabin wrote all their hits in the end - on Union both "Saving My Heart" and "Lift Me Up (a #1 hit)" were written by Rabin. At the same time, YesYears had one hit song that same year as Arista records (their old label) did a competing album of hits with an unreleased song, "Make It Easy" also written by Rabin and also charting (#36).
The last song Chris Squire co-wrote before dying from Leukemia in 2015. RIP. This album had Steve Howe (back for the fourth time!), Chris Squire, Alan White, Geoff Downes, and for his first and only appearance - Jon Davison as lead singer. It was only in 2017 at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction that Jon Anderson returned for the first time to sing in years. He is touring with them again.
You couldn't be more wrong. First, Steve left only twice. Second, Jon Davison is still with the band. Finally, Anderson never returned and is not touring with them.
What's your point? Stop disrepecting and faking being knowledgeable about Yes. You clearly have no idea what is is you are listening to or what you are typing about. Go try to be relevant somewhere else. You aren't worthy of Yes.
Thanking God for good people right here

"new" I think they been playing this kind a music since the 70s
That is awesome ! So glad that Yes reaches younger people...

Anyone who criticizes you for liking Yes is someone you want to stay away from. Avoid losers.

Because they think rap is superior and sagging pants is awesome.

Vezonmodder I don't know either.

My favorite composition on 'Heaven & Earth'.
It's just so wonderful.

Good song for good people ...
It is for certain folks they
did not expect everyone to like it
Squire's with the old school 4 string white Fender should be in Webster's dictionary for 'what masterpiece bass guitar sounds like'.
the best thing about Yes is all the different styles of music it has and if u hate an album u can find one that u love
Why?
I love how this album has such a at peace feeling one of my favorite albums from them!
I hated this song for the longest time, but lately I can't stop listening.
Same here...weird huh ?

What a great piece of writing. This needs to get out.
I remember they played this song in orange county. I think I was the only one that got it. It's a good song. Has rhythm

Come the final fadeout ..........
This album is Yes with a dollop of McCartney stirred in. That's a good thing. This song is so enchanting.
I'm standing at Your door ... with all my defenses down
As if our days remain
Steve Howe incredible guitar
Así es mi querido Sebastián, que genial entontrarte por aquí, soy seguidor del canal jaja, larga vida a casa baviera.... Prost!! 🤘

omg, so beautiful!
This song sounds pretty good when played at speed 1.25. Try it. See for yourself.

Whos talking about what here ? I'll mow you down in a NY second regarding Yes trivia.......lets do it....especially if you are a Genesis bitch
Miss you Chris.
La mejor intro de la historia. Junto con "Altus Silva", de Peter Gabriel
I was prejudice when I first heard this album. This song isn't bad though.
Rip
Chris
You won’t be missed god bless ya
Edit your comment.please
I felt quite neutral about the rest of this album - didn't really like it, didn't hate it either - but this just SLAPS🔥🔥
I've just lost.
Tralala-Song

Tame ---- this album suffers from trying to be cosmic ... remember 'Relayer'?
Your life must suck so badly to fail at trying to be a troll. Very NOT sad for you.

Das hat mit YES nichts mehr zu tun.
It's like a pop song, it's like a standart bad Eurovision pop song. This is not yes's quality.
not the original singer
So what.
