Knecht is so fun to watch play
Knecht is gonna be a hell of an NBA player. The reads he's making to score especially drive are so polished, just like his jumpshot, that shit is water, kinda reminds me of DBook. If he can up his defense he'll have a long career.
Knecht will have the better NBA career. He’s a mini Kevin Durant

@@justaguy328if this was 20 years ago I'd agree but in today's league he needs to have a perimeter game in order to seriously impact scoring. He can be an amazing defensive anchor though.
I don't know what folks are talking about when it comes to Zach. He's a franchise pick. You build around a 7'4 player who is a high percentage shooter. Whatever franchise pass him up will regret it within the 1st 2 years... Guaranteed!
He scored in the top 5 on quickness skill drills. And hitting midlevel jumpers in the NBA combine. 3 pointers too.

@trav3104 Saying Refs give Edey everything just showed how little you watch him play. He gets fouled nearly every possession. In the Gonzaga game, he had one guy holding his left arm, another guy holding his right arm so he couldn't get the rebound. They reviewed the play and still didn't call it a foul. The number of hook and hold calls missed is insane.
We had our hands full with 2 seed Tennessee, we should not have much trouble with an 11 seed. We will wear N.C. State down and foul trouble will also ensue, just like all the other teams we play against. Except for our four losses, which area a lot fewer than the 14 losses of N.C.S. But you never know for sure. UCONN is scary if we get past N.C.S.!!

Boban NEVER had the fluidity or kneebend that Edey has. The problem with super bigs is usually they don't have the ability to sit in a defensive position and receive contact from a driver, Edey has great kneebend and can lower his stance BECAUSE he has used those aspects in his Offensive game when he is posting up the paint. That's why he's way superior to a tako fall or Boban, because his game isn't about being tall only, he's actually really good at Battling for position and that is what makes him a NBA prospect

Yes, he rarely fouls. He only averted 1.9 fouls this season

Hard to stop a guy that weighs 100lbs more than you.... just butt push you backwards like Shaq used to do and lay it up or slam it home! At least he'll face a heavier opponent next but he's pretty spry for a 7' 4" guy that's for sure so he's a handful no matter how you look at it. Best bet is to make him foul out of the game... set him up to foul you... a good guard/player can do it. Just ask Larry Bird :)
Crazy how much better Knecht is than Edey. Edey is boring just down low 2 foot shot and free throws so boring.
Problem is he is so hard to stop... foul him out of the game is your best chance if you ask me... the rest of his team is just mid.

Not a TN fan, but they got screwed by refs in this game. Edey gets more calls in his favor than any player I've seen in a long, long time.

His game won't translate much. Imagine him trying to guard curry off of a screen. I think clingan has a much higher chance of having success in the NBA.

Knecht is good, but Edey looks like a create-a-player that's bigger than everyone else you'd make when messing around playing a video game.
Knect is more skilled and will be the better pro. Edey way too stiff for the pros and gets very favorable treatment from refs in college....that won't be the case in the NBA...plenty of good big guus there.
Knecht will be playing in the NBA while edey will be playing in the g-league or overseas in a few years.
One of these players is an insane talent. The other is some kid who was lucky to be born 7’4.
Then why isn’t every 7 footer running the league, give your head a shake
