Cardiff - Sparking A Flame | S4E7

It’s been a hectic summer with a passenger record at the airport and plenty of speculations about possible route closures, route openings and airline takeovers. Now with fall setting in temperatures might start decreasing but the action at the airport is only just beginning to heat up!
Each season of the series will play out 1 year with season 4 portraying the year 2006 at the airport.
Cardiff is a fictional series that will feature made up but also inspired by real life events from the respective time period. The air traffic displayed is picked to fit the time period but for entertainment purposes there are some historical inaccuracies throughout the series.

Thanks for the great interest in the video and specifically the C-17 shot. Here is how I do these shots. I place the model on a stand and film the model. My camera is placed on a motorised camera slider so it moves around the plane model. It is important that it is a motorised slider because I need to repeat the exact same camera motion to do a second recording where I remove the model and stand from the frame. Afterwards I edit the two shots together masking away the stand which crates the illusion of the model being in the air.
