Bananas contain high levels of potassium and other micro and macro nutrients. Maserating and spreading like animal manure from a tractor would be a smart way to disperse the nutrients and reduce emission dense areas.
You say the machines that process banana stalks into fiber are too expensive. How expensive are they? Im not ready to invest in Uganda but charity/crowdfunding could be arranged if we can find the right manager.
I would strongly contest bananas being a big source of carbon dioxide. They use CO2 from the air for the bulk of the growth. About a quarter of that volume of is within the root mass and is somewhat sequestered.
While I normally dislike them, I have found ways to like them. Let me gift you with a five-ingredient recipe, within which you can make substitutions if you like. I have gone Vegan, so I can't make it as I did, but here it is: Get a reduced-fat pre-made graham crust, a tub of vanilla yogurt, a package of preferably Fiber One sugar-free vanilla pudding mix, a cup of Kroger Simple Truth Organic soymilk, and two bananas. Mix the pudding mix, yogurt, and milk in a bowl and set aside to allow the mix to thicken. While it thickens, slice the bananas, reserving the peels to mince as meat extenders later. Layer the crust with about 60% or so of the slices (including up the sides). Spoon in about half the pudding mixture, then top that with the remaining slices, and top that with the rest of the mixture. Cover with the plastic liner, inverted as a lid, and refrigerate about 2 hours. Serve chilled, and you WILL need to eat the whole thing within a day or so, because the live yogurt cultures will begin to break down the bananas and the sugar in the crust, making a sort of banana syrup. It's not spoiled, and tastes fine, it's just kind of slimy at that point. You could mix it up and put in a parfait glass! Anyway, this pie, is so simple, fairly cheap, and even people who really don't like bananas will love it. My late husband did. I call this, "Herne's Banana Dream Pie." You can change it up with a chocolate crust, and drizzle on top some strawberry or cherry syrup, finely chopped nuts, etc.. You do you, and I truly hope you enjoy this.

You can eat those peels! For every 8oz of ground whatever you normally use, one peel, very finely minced, can be added, and nobody will be able to tell. The minced peel freezes easily, so you can have it on hand as a cheap/free extender whenever.
Hmmm. You said rice wheat and corn....left out manioc or cassava! I am shocked that a plant only produces bananas once!! Thank you Sir, always love your work.
It's not entirely accurate. In most varieties the rhizome grows new "pups" every year, which grow into full sized plants over a 9-11 month timeframe, and individual rhizomes can survive for years even decades. The pups can even be separated to start new trees. I had a banana plant in Santa Monica, CA in 2000, the owner of the building said it was there when he bought the building in the 1980's, and it was still there last time I visited Santa Monica, maybe 2011 or 2012.
@@urbans9140 Meanwhile, Google, "Do bananas spread by rhizomes," and the answer is, "Yes.... Rhizomes are a primary method of propagating bananas." Oopsies. One might want to check before the wreck. Many monocots spread this way, bananas being just one among many.

Thank you for the banana tutorial!! I will now look for banana flour 😋🤤. The best tasting bananas are short and fat. They have more banana flavor and are silkier textured-cavendish are flavorless in comparison. They grow on shorter “trees” (which are actually a type of grass(dinosaur grass?)).
While they are indeed monocots, they are not a grass, similar to palm trees, orchids, and lilies. They are in their own family grouping, Musaceae. I, too, would like to look for the flour. Meanwhile, I shared an amazing recipe using the peels, finely minced, as a meat or Vegan meat extender. Just remember to scrub the peels before peeling, just in case they are covered in pesticides. One minced peel (which can be frozen for later use) for every 8oz ground whatever, more or less to taste. You get extra protein, fibre, vitamins and minerals, and it leaves no taste you would not want in the burgers or whatever. I shared my recipe for "steak and winesauce," which people call, "Beef Burgundy." So, now we all get to enjoy something I really don't care for ordinarily.
And we can eat the peels! Woo! lol! For real; I have minced them finely and added them to ground (fake) meat, to extend it, about one peel to 8oz fake meat, and other than extending it, one would never know. I just got extra fibre, vitamins and minerals, and bigger burgers! Considering how expensive Impossible and Beyond products are, anything that gives me more is great. My husband couldn't tell I had added them, as they were finely minced, and have virtually no taste. He has gout, and is overweight, so anything I can do to help him, I want to. I don't want to lose a second husband to bad habits. Be well, and enjoy your peels!

Vegetals rotting is not an environmental problem, every atom of carbon they released was taken from the atmosfere, so every vegetable is always a net zero. This is some bad faith argument to vilify producers.
Just gonna skip the facts huh? The bananas are growing where trees used to be. The trees were full of carbon. The bananas too. All of it released rather than being sequestered in trees and eventually in other plants. Not the atmosphere. And you skipped the larger point about methane so you could work in some ignorance.
The point is it's not being drilled from below hundreds of feet of earth. What's on the surface will eventually rot, be released and be reabsorbed. It's already in the eco system, not being added. Next time you try to appear clever, maybe have a second read first and understand what they're trying to say
@@ronanfitzpatrick1261 Great advice, I agree. But the source of the carbon is not relevant. The current location of the carbon is. All the carbon in the Amazon is already in the carbon cycle too. This does not mean we could cut it all down without rapidly releasing a dangerous amount o carbon. The rotting vegetals would indeed harm the environment. The scales are just different. I will simplify it for the Fox News audience: Carbon in trees is not in the atmosphere. Carbon in the atmosphere is in the atmosphere.
@ThePelagicHermit Yeah we certainly shouldn't cut down the Amazon - but we have to remember at some point that vegetation will release it's carbon back into the environment at the end of its life. For me that's one of the aspects if commercial carbon footprint calculation that annoys me - we give credits for growing trees (which is good) but in some cases they're only replacing trees that have been cut for timber etc (so it's neutral, but you still have the original pollution youre supposedly offsetting). It's a different way of looking at it, perhaps but I would agree with the original poster that burning deadwood & organic waste is simply moving that inevitable carbon release forward a few months or years, so as long as something's grown to replace that carbon absortion, which in this case it is, it's as close to neutral as we can get; a lot more so than some carbon offsetting
