I just got the KD15 coming from the TY1. Big hawks and Trae fan so I got the shoes to support and use. Unfortunately my foot is too narrow that I went down a half size and still didn’t work. The sock fit design is just not for my foot unfortunately and had to double sock it. They have performed amazing outside and have held up over 6 months now. The KD15 though feels amazing comparatively. The cushion and lockdown are much more for me and my style of play. I felt clunky and heavy in the TY1. Unfortunately the KD15 definitely wont hold up outdoors. Two days of play outside and the tread is already fading. The feel and fit though make me feel quick and light on my feet, plus the cushioning helps my knees feel WAY better. Love the reviews as always. Helped me make my decision on the KD15 a few weeks ago
Does the upper of the Trae Young 1 break in at all? I’m usually a 10.5, and I tried the 10 and the length was perfect but a little tight on the side of my feet
Im an 11 size foot and i bought size 11 and at first when i put my insole in it was tight and i almost was gonna decided to go up to 11.5 - 12 but after a few uses my foot was not tight anymore so i would say that the upper does break in.
Very interesting take. I do think adidas made a mistake with their alternative lacing system - similar to puma nitro fusion. For what it is - I think both of these sneakers need to be at that $110 sweet spot that the PG6 is at. Thanks for the awesome review.
My biggest complaint against Adidas is the random size and fit. Each model fits very differently. My Harden's hit true to size, my Dame's run 1/2 - 1 full size small, and the classics run at least 1/2 size big.

Any Mizuno with Enerzy foam: Not a lot of people have talked about it and would love to hear your take. Asics: Sky Elite 2: Volleyball shoe that is the best court shoe I have personally tried. Asics Metarise: Also a volleyball shoe. Hard one to find without ordering from overseas but one of the most interesting shoes out there in terms of design.
Do you always buy two pairs of the Same shoe. One to cut it and show the inside of the shoe and another Pair to keep Or do you make the Review and Then cut the shoe in the middle. And thanks for All the great Reviews btw

If i jump Of my forefoot my lumbar spine hurts everytime no matter if i jump with one foot or with both and it Gets worse with Every jump. Can you Recommand any shoe that might be Able to avoid this Kind of pain
Great video Zach. I was wondering if you plan on reviewing more Chinese brand shoes. I've heard the Li Ning Speed 8 Premium is Kobe 5-esque! The All City 10s look nice too. It'd be interesting to see what's inside them (their BOOM foam is supposed to be similar to Boost as well).
Another great video!,thanks,I would chose KD15 ,that serious is proven all the way around,the the Adidas looks to be very basic with not much conformity to your foot, minimal padding and cushion, adidas probably could have done little better on that shoe,thanks again for your shoe clinic's!

Hey Doc, Another super in depth great video. I'm currently battling what I believe is a Tailor's bunion or maybe just a really extreme corn(gross). Anyways The Curry 9 (somewhat wide and soft material in toe box) has been okay for me while I've been battling this and my best relief has been using the KD 14 which I wear everyday when I coach. It seems like the toe box is wide enough, the material is soft and nothing seems to press on the toe, particularly just above the nail. Would you say this KD 15 has a similar feel? Also would the Jordan 36 Low be a good option? I've heard it's got a wider toe box. I'd also certainly take the recommendation of a good foot doctor in Philly since I know this is more of a band-aid approach for a bigger issue that needs addressing. Thanks in advance!
Kd 15s go hard .. especially when they break in / conform to your foot more .. Good for footwork .. Best shoes for midrange in .. Jordan 37s feel bouncier for my jumpers .. KDs feel a lil flat beyond midrange .. but KDs feel more balanced Fit/comfort is a 10 KD 15 > Jordan 37
As Trae young wears ZAMST A2- DX ankle braces (which are the same as Steph Curry) do you believe this is the reason the shoe has the moveability as Trae is banking on those braces protecting him on his side to side movements and any major flex he is putting into the shoe?

What’s good doc! I’ve had the PG 6’s for about a week and have played in them nearly every day, their a size 10.5 and I’m getting some material pinching my foot from it overhanging, on the ball of my foot/left of my big toe area. I also tried my friends PG 6 in a size 11, fully broken in and I still get that material pinch, should I keep trying to break these in or are the PG 6s not for me? Any help is very much appreciated. The stability on the KD 15 is a joke, bending the ankle with the lightest pressure sends the shoe over to its side. The Trae's provide so much more court feel and confidence when moving side to side. I don't know how guys can play in stiff as a brick shoes where you can't move your feet/toes around.
The black and white one s look strong on back heal part and the outta bottom part look strong .when it cume s to righting up my lace s I tigh the knot behind the toung .than at frunt
I play a shifty point guard position, and I recently purchased a pair of PG 6s. You absolutely can't go wrong with them, they are a light shoe that are super responsive and comfortable. The only downside to them (in my opinion) is that they aren't very breathable - if excessive sweating bothers you then maybe stay away from them
@@tekkheanvanvichea5097 The shoes don't necessarily bottom out fast, just faster than other shoes (such as the Lebron 19, Gt Jump, etc). Bottoming out isn't an issue for most point guards as you're not going to be doing a lot of rebounding/high - stress landing. If, however, you are a taller or heavier player that jumps a lot, maybe stay away from the PG 6s. My friend is a center and he recommends that Zoom GT Jump, he really likes those for his size and weight. Me personally, bottoming out the cushion in the PG 6s has never been a problem - I am an athletic, 5 foot 8 point guard weighing in at around 130-140 pounds.

Returned the KD15 because of fraying of the fibers on the toe cap after playing just one game in an indoor court. I'm pretty sure my foot got stepped on but was not hard enough for me to remember it specifically. basketball shoes shouldnt get damaged in a any way after one basketball game.
The GT Jump is really bouncy, but unfortunately they lack in durability. I played occasionally for less than 5 months in them and the left heel Zoom bubble popped.
@@Crimilion I got the 36's and they are really bouncy, especially in the forefoot which is great for jumping (the air unit and zoom strobel combo feels really good). They are also really responsive surprisingly for having such amazing cushion and impact protection. Really helped out my right knee, great to jump and cut corners with these. I'd say durability wise they do get scratched up fairly easy (the leather/suede parts of the shoe) but the plastic upper itself should hold for a long time, great for all positions. (I would consider going half a size up if you have a wide foot, they are narrow and they run a little short, they will feel uncomfortable at first until you break in that upper fyi)
Bounce has a lot to do with the weight of the shoe so I’d say the Jordan 36s cause they both have double stacked zoom units in the forefoot and the 36s are lighter

What about AJ 36 vs Gt Jump for bounce?
