thanks.... my mower wouldnt make a noise after sitting all winter... i watched your video and noticed the push/pull cable that engaged the sensor.... my cable had broken so i just rigged it back.... thanks, i had no prior knowledge on this specific mower
Thank you for the info. Mine was running and it shut down all of a sudden. After seeing your comment, I went and checked mine and turns out that was my problem. The fuse was so old, it fell apart as I was pulling it out. Once I put a new one in, it fire right up. Thanks again!
My Magnum 725 Mz will try to turn over but won't and the battery is fully charged with clean cable ends and terminals. After reading all the posts here, in the AM I will check the brake cable switch and the other safety switches. Could a starting selinoid be bad and still make an attempt at turning the motor over but only 1/4 the way? You've been very helpfull to quite a few owners here, thank you.
@@countryoutlaw4420 I cleaned everything on selinoid and checked all safety switches, seat, control arms, brake cable and switch underneith, hot wires to selinoid and from selinoid to starter, ground to motor good. Can you put a link as to the selinoid you purchased at the parts store?
Can someone please advise how to adjust the valves so I can move (not running 2015 Outlaw XP)? There are two vavles on hydraulic pumps but not sure which direction to move them. Thank you!
Checked all switches with multi meter and they all appear to be good. They open and close. Checked both fuses they are all good. Battery is hot but still will not starter will not engage. What else could be the problem. Brake is set / both control levers are in the correct position. All relays were checked to make sure they were working. Solenoid has been changed but still starter will engage. WHat else should I try?
I'm having a similar problem and this would be more helpful if I knew exactly what you were looking at. The best I can guess is you're looking at that little block to the left of the battery down there. But I'm not certain.
Thanks my mower wouldn’t start and come to find out the nut for the brake cable was loose tightened it up and she fired right up. Life saver Thank you Mike
Mine I’ll turn over and act like it wants to start but will not start. I change the plugs changed air filter change the fuel filter even change the fuel pump it still doesn’t wanna start and figure it out possibly the choke cable is not quite working right and I think that’s it seems to be getting sparked if you would’ve just didn’t wanna crank over and then after a little while it does get hot to get a set but it said a minute before you start trying to crank on it again
Question, I raised my badboy with my front loader on my tractor. To change the blades, when I lowered it the bucket bent the right steering arm I straighten the arm out now it won't turn over any thoughts
You most likely moved the position switch on the arm that interlocks with the starter. It’s a switch that looks like the one he says sticks sometimes, it is near the pivot point on the arm. My guess is it needs to be rotated towards the sidewall of the mower so that it closes the switch.
What I would do is put a little bit of gas in the intake if it hits or even runs for a little bit then it's a fuel problem if don't then it might be a spark problem

@@countryoutlaw4420 , On my 1st question, I put in a pto switch and fixed that. Both arms have the same resistance and everything feels the same but it won't pull and right arm isn't working

Wash it;…. Use a leaf blower on it every time you’re done using it… take care of it… lot of money to let it get run down!
What model and year truck relay did you use?
97 ford f150
i was going to do the same thing but i found a dif prob at least i know that works . man i love my BB there great machines !
How do you change the 10 amp fuse under the operators console, for engagement of the mower blades?
I found a 25 amp fuse by the solenoid that no one knows about. It will also keep it from starting.

Take better care of your equipment and you will find that it will last much longer and with way less maintenance issues.
