=) You are welcome KMH!
13:30 It is fat embolism syndrome, and mechanical ventilation may have to be given if pt. meets the criteria
Correct, but usually not required
07:20 Uworld, CMS form and amboss suggest Emergent MRI to detect compression in order to consider surgery
No no no!!!!! First steroids!!!! Then MRI!! Don't wait an hour before MRI or the guy will suffer nerve damage PERMANENTLY!!! First steroids, THEN MRI to assess for surgery. PLEASE don't do that when you are a doctor!!! You will get majorly sued!!!!
Same thing with multiple sclerosis, STEROIDS before IMAGING!!!
Same thing with giant cell arteritis, STEROIDS before BIOPSY!!!!
ALWAYS in emergencies, STEROIDS BEFORE DIAGNOSTICS!!!!!!!!!!!
so helpful! will there be a surgery one soon?
Hey!! Surgery will be done today!
Thanks 🫶🏻
You are welcome docsurbs!
Thank you so much for this. The woman moaning at 9:00 was a little too much to have on speakers though haha
Sorry cooldude! You are welcome for the video!
18:46 posterior dislocation in colles fracture would compress the radial nerve right?
Colles fracture is a fracture of the radial bone, but it is generally associated with an injury to the median nerve
This is first video I had to slow down versus all my other study videos I speed them up 😅
=) I hope you liked it Brielle! (cool name by the way)
Sources used making these videos??
first aid, uworld, and other sources
Is this for step 1/step 2
My goal was to make a playlist for step 2 review, but I don't think there's anything new in step 2 for MSK (except for questions that start with "what is the next step?". I think there are only like 2 of those). So in summary: this works for step 1 as well!
Thanks. Please remove the background voices and music. It disturbs my concentration a lot. I appreciate your videos on revisions. Please make for allergy immunology also❤
I hear ya...
some of your choices for audiofiles are of questionable origin
audiofiles? not sure what you mean
dude you make dirty medicine look homeless
Maybe my name should be clean medicine. =)
one bit of criticism, stop saying "over here"
otherwise amazing content Sir.
Thank you!!! I didn't even realize I said over here that much!!! Sorry about that
