Mate, here I am walking 30km a day through gnarly terrain, providing viewers with great educational Intel and you do a nice easy walk into a bbq table area, cookup a Trangia meal and your views go through the roof overnight (well done). I can’t get my head around the algorithm, what am I doing wrong? I actually cut out quite a bit of our conversation because you were really grumpy at that point (the rain, and camera malfunction, or me just poking the big bear) 😉
I’ve since got a foam windshield like yours for GoPro, did you have a Drone following you on some of your shots? I don’t think I’ll ever get a drone or a 360 but it does make things look a little more interesting, gadget guy.

@@OutdoorsmanDave Yes, the views on my cooking video were great first up. But after a couple of days it hit the wall. Nothing for the last 24 hours, so Im as confused as you are when it comes to YT. Not so grumpy, more just trying to give you some emotion for the vid. I did actually enjoyed myself on that trip! I found a drone on TradeMe for under $200 and thought, why not? In hindsight, thats probably all its worth, but it does grab the selfie shots OK. I like the 360 better, although its got to be 5 years old, so not so much new gadgets. What is the selfie pole you are using? It looks like a joby gorilla with an extension?

Pity, I’d saw your entry in the book.
Did you pick up the hiking poles that I think it was Sarah (red hair lady on her own) had left? The Intentions book indicated she was meant to be at Poupou campsite that night too but when I got there at 10pm I was alone so I suspect she realised she’d left them back at Te Whare Okioki and went back for them and changed her plans?
I was told about them from a guy heading south Id passed and I was going to pick them up and take them to her at Poupou but like I said I couldn’t find the poles and she wasn’t at campsite, bit of a mystery?
