For some reason the person feeding the cats reminds me of an old story I read where a man played a fiddle for some cats' ball even when he was offered more money to play somewhere else. The man in the story still kept his promise to play for the cats, so they rewarded him greatly. I feel like that if there's a cat god or something, this person is gonna get all the rewarde they deserve.
