It took me yesterday 4 or 5 attempts for the 70 tasks, using the time stop hat, it took me 2 and a half hours, I thought I was really gonna get hardstuck, on my successful attempt as fast as I noticed I had 4 left I ran to the casino and to watering plants at the green room as they are the fastest tasks
There's two things in this game: peace and tranquillity then there's stress and anxiety
Hint: This death wish isn't the former
Child labor. Also, yelling at your workers isn't good. And Conductor needs to be more careful about his grandchildren, imagine if the parents new that one of them was almost falling off a boat!

I had to use assist mode just to beat the normal level the only time in the standard game I had to use assist mode
(I also used them for death wishes which explains how I beat ultra snatcher on my first try)
The key to this is dont panic. Might be easier said than done but in the original level you get arrows guiding you even without assist mode. Dont look at the stress meter either or you will get more panic. Just try your darndest until the game stops you
The biggest threat to me was always walking on top of the oven... Always forgetting about the flaming pans, you see. And I completely empathize with the whole "don't feel like high scores" thing, though I think the anger meter was only about halfway at that point? Still, that was enough laps of the boat for me!

Basically the pizza delivery mission from Spider-Man 2. The music even gets more tense!
For a second after you talked to the captain seal I thought Spider-Man 2 pizza theme was about to play

I hate levels like this that have RNG it really makes you feel like you have no (Cruise) Control over how well you do.
I mean, it is actually lesser evil than completely patternised tasks which you just learn out, but it can screw you over and over again ehehe
I imagine this is way easier with another player helping out
Can't do Death Wish in Co-op sadly. And the regular level raises the required amount to 27 instead of 18.
I mean there is Coop Anywhere mod which would allow you to do this DW in coop

And its also the reason why I dislike the Captain of the ship ( I forgot his name ). If you don't complete all of the tasks he gives a pretty rude remark. Sure he has to run a ship but MAN HE IS A JERK. Does he know how big his ship is?
@@queenkoko8686 He’s basically getting you to do free labor, cleaning up and working around this giant maze of a cruise ship for little more than a lost and found prize and dude can’t even wait a couple minutes between tasks :\
I just did both objetives, finished 100% of Death Wish and got the I Refuse to Die! achievement :D

That was increable, thanks do this video I found a EASIER way to get engine room and that hooks in the pool can easily helpful do get on one of two side, still I found a faster way to get to capitan center, but this really motived me to try again AND learn that you can beat this without help of time hat.
I know this is 4+ years video but still, thank you for this video
Watching videos like this + other playthroughs (namely WR attempts) really helped me get an idea of how to properly manage all the tasks as well as figure out good routes to different parts of the ship and helped me get a full clear, so that's cool! Thank you for that :)

That’s the exact reason this level gives me headaches and heart attacks .v.
I just completed the story mode version of this and suffered a breakdown.. I got really lucky with the last two tasks being right near me so I can stack them and them being near the kitchen.. This is way more evil than anything Rare had us do. I thought I would never find something more evil than Canary Mary.. or anything in Donkey Kong 64... For the sake of my sanity and blood pressure I am keeping my viewing of this to videos like this...
Listen... Before you attempt it, just know it's not mandatory for 100% completion. You aren't being forced to do it. Plus, you can make it easier if you die one too many times. Gears for Breakfast understands this is making us frustrated, and they made sure you know it's just for people who want a challenge.
As someone else who's suffering through death wish and especially Arctic Cruise, I understand your pain
