Enjoyed your wip parade and it wasn't choppy at all. You made great progress on them. I've been guilty of watching more flosstube than stitching lately. Wishing you another great year of stitching. Take care and thanks for sharing.
It was fun to see the progress on your WIPs during 2022. I am looking forward to going along with you on your progress journey for 2023. Happy stitching………………
So lovely revisiting all your beautiful projects. Cat 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛ alphabet is my favourite followed by Cardinal Cottage. Looking forward to lots of lovely stitching in 2023
Hello Carolyn and thank you for sharing your WIP parade - it was so enjoyable to watch and love your projects! Will enjoy watching your progress throughout the year !! Have a good week !
Another great FlossTube - you are so generous with your time and I really appreciate you keeping me entertained. Thank you for that!! Loved seeing your WIP Parade and no the pauses were not bad at all. I look forward to seeing your progress throughout this new year and wish you a speedy needle. Take care and see you next time.
Thanks you for your video. What a fun WIP parade that was! I loved seeing all your projects, and look forward to seeing your progress on them throughout the year! Take care and happy stitching!
Such a great wip parade, Carolyn. You have such a wonderful array of beautiful projects. I made note of so many that I would love to stitch. Thank you for all the work you do putting your videos together, it is very much appreciated. Happy New Year!
Love all your WIPS. I went through all of mine and have 37 that I found. I know I have two more I can’t find. Apparently I need to be better organized. Happy stitching, take care.
Carolyn, I really enjoyed your WIP Parade! You are so well organized and have so many beautiful projects. I've watched it twice since I missed some pieces while stitching. This time I paused and went back to see pieces I missed. I love the way you set goals for your wips. My approach is slightly different. I pick the 6 I want to finish this 6ear and I don't plan on touching the rest. Have a great stitching year and I will love following your progress.
Wow! You certainly like the big projects! But they are amazing. I think my favorite piece is Warm Welcome. You certainly get my full attention every time you show it and you even inspired me to go out and find a copy. But it quite intimidates me. Happy New Year
Wow! 51 WIPS. That makes me feel better and worse! Better because I have 30 WIPS and worse because I may not be able to finish these in my lifetime! But your attitude is fantastic and that is what I am taking away from your FlossTube! You sure have some challenging pieces. I think I will get Nutcracker Village back out. I agree that the fabric is a little difficult. I also have a By The Bay Tidal River pattern to start as well as Plum Street, Rosewood Manor, Modern Folk Embroidery, Heart in Hand, Lori Holt, and Blackbird designs. A lot to look forward to in the New Year!
I love many of your wins. In fact I’m doing winter rose manor and Christmas at Hawk Run Hollow. Our tastes are very similar. Thank you for showing them Happy New Year
I really enjoyed this WIP parade. Watching with parades is my very favorite thing because I get most of my inspiration from seeing what other people are doing. I love looking at peoples long dog sampler's and seeing how they interpret them with color.
The Warm Welcome piece with the cat on it is the one I want. Have you been able to locate one of this pattern? You may have forgot. I really want it. The cat on it looks exactly like my Abbey, which passed away from cancer. I really would love to get that pattern. Loved you WIP Parade. You have a lot of beautiful stitching. Have a terrific week.
You've got your work cut out for you in 2023! Some shouldn't take too long to finish, though, so I have faith you can whittle that 51 down a bit. 😁 We just won't talk about the charts that are waiting to be sent into the game, now will we? 😏 Happy 2023 stitching, Carolyn!
Great wip parade. Your work, projects and plans will go great. I am struggling with glitter village as well. I like the finish product but not the stitching. Be well Robin
Nice! I have tons as well. Trying to make a list that says I can start this when I finish that to keep my wip list from getting any longer. Too much temptation out there, for sure!
Hey sweet friend! I had forgotten that you are doing 1 Down 3 Across as well. Since I am finishing this up on Wednesday night, are you back in the office this week or have a bit more time off yet? I am sure the students aren't back yet but what about you? You have so many beautiful WIPs that it has to be hard to decide sometimes which ones to focus on. Thank you so much for taking the time and energy to film this. Happy stitching.
I worked this past week, but from home, same for next week, then the students are back and classes start up again on the 17th (I think - that Tuesday).
Great WIP parade!! I really enjoyed the before and now photos. Really fun to see all your progress. Thank you for doing that. I was amazed at how much you accomplished on Cat Alphabet and Christmas Dinner. I love those two. Happy stitching!
Love the wip parade! A few videos ago you said not going to be as regimented and I laughed but yes you aren’t giving out times when you will be done etc. wow you amazed me! Lots to do but hey awesome. Think I am most amazed at cat alphabet what fantastic progress! I hope to get a. Restart on one haed when fabric comes and a good amount of my other. The other 2 well hmm.lol also doing a stocking for myself and then my reg ones lol
I noticed you included articles (a, an, the) when you’re alphabetizing. My librarian mind moves those to the end with a comma and I alphabetize with the first actual word. For example: “Treasured Time, A” would belong in the T section instead of the A section. Whatever makes sense in your brain, though! It just stood out to me cuz I was taught differently. 😊
Ha ha ha! Yes, I have librarians in my family too and I also spent more time than I care to admit thinking about this! I finally decided to keep the articles just because I don't PLAN to have too many WIPS where I would be inundated with "A" or "An" or "The". I may have to rethink the system if I end up with a million WIPS.
@@czookstitch488 I think in my brain, I’ve already removed the articles, so I naturally head to the part of the alphabet where the first main word is. 😁
So very many beautiful projects!!!!! What are your plans for A Year in the Woods or did you just UFO it? Just wondering because so many people loved certain ones, but it looked like a lot to stitch each month. I love the Snowman one she is doing this year, but I can’t start any more year-long monthly series until I finish a couple ☺️☺️. Good luck and I hope you have a fanatical stitichy year in 2023 ❤.
Happy New Year... Wow you've got amazing pieces. I'm so glad I chose to do no new starts for myself otherwise my WIP count would be through the roof after watching yours 😂😉, there's quite a few I'll add to my want list for next year depending on how many I get finished this year. Will you be doing a FO and FFO parade to show what you've completed?
Oh, thank goodness!! I have the fabric and floss for Purple Reign, and am waiting for the longest bars Rolaframe makes (A&T ordered it for me when I was there the end of October). I was so worried you would be all but done by now, lol!!! It was great getting to see your WIPs! Trying to get settled into my new apartment and once I am I’ll have space and time dedicated for stitching… stay well, see you soon!!
Thank you! I mostly use evenweave (my favorite) or linen, but the big, full coverage projects I use 18 count Aida. You can get a big enough piece from 123 Stitch or Heaven and Earth Designs. I hope this answers your question!
Oh my, you have an awesome bunch of stitching!! I am in Nebraska ... where did you live? Just curious 🤔 😊 Not sure if someone else mentioned it, on the stitch Gloory to the new born king, the purple flowers are missing in the top portion. Just wanted to let you know. 😌 Have a fabulous week and I am looking forward to seeing your progress this year.
Yes thank you - if I recall correctly, the top portion of those flowers is all beads, which I'll put in at the very end. I grew up in Lincoln - where are you?
I am in Ord. It's an hour north of Grand Island. Both of my boys are in Lincoln so I spend a lot of time there. So glad I found your channel, I really enjoy it. 😊
Hi I’m quite new to this hobby, but when you mention 32 or 28 count do you stitch 1 or 2 threads and 1 or 2 holes. It’s silly maybe I should know but I’m confused with all these numbers
Oh I love seeing all the things people stitch. Now you know what I do at night when I can’t sleep, and I’m too tired to stitch.
Enjoyed your wip parade and it wasn't choppy at all. You made great progress on them. I've been guilty of watching more flosstube than stitching lately. Wishing you another great year of stitching. Take care and thanks for sharing.
Carolyn thanks for taking the time to let us visit wit your WIP’s. Looking forward to traveling along with you in 2023👏👏👏👏💕💕💕

Love seeing all your projects and yes you did enable me 😄
Wow!! That's alot of Wips...but you can handle it! I have tonget Carolyn's Balloons Winter although I haven't started autumn yet. I do have it kitted!

Yay!
Great parade! You are so well organized, I love how you keep track of all of them and your hours!!
I am glad I bad a pen and paper, I wrote a few more down.
Great wip parade. Your work, projects and plans will go great. I am struggling with glitter village as well. I like the finish product but not the stitching. Be well Robin
I completely agree! I will be so happy when I get that one done!
Beautiful WIPS👍🏽🪡
Nice! I have tons as well. Trying to make a list that says I can start this when I finish that to keep my wip list from getting any longer. Too much temptation out there, for sure!
This is a great idea - I may have to implement it as I'm starting to feel overwhelmed with all my projects - especially the number of larger ones.

There are way too many good charts out there! Designers need to take a break! But yes, you have every right to laugh at me about being regimented! HA!

Caroline, this was a terrific video . Thank you. question: on 32 CT you stitch how many threads and 36 count is what also. Thank you

Look at Jessie Marie does stuff. She is the creator and has TH-cam video to explain it.
