It is simply the three gunas of Prakriti. Sattva, Rajas and Tamas. It was given in ancient India about 3000-5000 years ago in the vedas and upanishads and subsequently clearly defined by Kapil Muni in Kapil Sutras and about 2000 years back in samkhya karikas by Ishwara Krishna.

Many thanks🙏for uploading the beautiful material. And thanks also to the authors of the good comments. It has already been said: The Fourth Way leads to the eternal question "Who am I?". Be somewhat tolerant of the means used by the various "teachers" to point in the direction of the mystery. Anyone who accurately describes the index finger pointing to the moon ultimately wants to direct the eyes to the moon. Zarathustra did it differently from Hermes Trismegistos, Buddha did it differently from Laozi, King Rama differently from Melchisedek, Master Eckhart differently from Rumi, etc.
This leads to the happy situation that everyone can choose the method that appeals to them and that they like. For example, I also like Daoism / Taoism with the two main powers☯️Yin and Yang and the "neither-nor-energy", the Qi / Chi / Ki (see Qi Gong, Thai Chi, Aikido etc.). Those who repeatedly attune themselves to this "neutral force" ultimately reach the Dao / Tao, the "primordial ground" of everything.
The special thing about Gurdjieff (and all teachers of the last two centuries) is the (actually very pleasing!) environment of "scientificity". But beware! --->

    • @advaitavedanta6617
      @advaitavedanta6617 22 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

(...) Whenever scientific thinking is combined with pure materialism, "God", love or the "All-Soul", as well as the "I am", i.e. the scientist who observes nature/the universe, are excluded. The "materialistic scientist" must therefore be suspicious of any teacher who describes the "index finger". He may not look at the moon once in his entire scholarly life.
This is why Gurdjieff's method is so valuable, precisely because of the many original exercises he taught. It is simply obvious that he meant the moon and not the index finger.

Like Gurdjieff, Fariduddin Attar describes the "third possibility":
"The way to the wine house and to the mosque, which is it?
Both are forbidden to me poor.
There is a way between the mosque and the wine house.
Find out, O dear ones, which one it is."

Connection/disconnection, tendencies toward/away, the myriad polarities of emotional complexes - all tied together by a "reconciling" force expressing itself as interfaces between the two extremes. If the universe is built of polarities, we may be the gradients of the pairing constructs or reconciliations within.

He changed the world? He's just another witch using performative witchcraft to seem profound, if you don't think it's witchcraft then why the lesser and greater magic, why the rituals? The silliest thing about these mystics is their lack of substance. They have no answers and posit nothing. Here is what Gurdjieff says "Our aim is to have constantly a sensation of oneself, of one's individuality: this sensation cannot be expressed intellectually, because it is organic. It is something which makes you independent, when you are with other people."...What is the profundity of making people search for individuality and telling people they are asleep? How is this practical? the only thing he posits that is practical is individuation, something I think Carl Jung explained in a much more practical and profound way within his works. He bloviates about these mystical workings of reality and consciousness but says much of nothing. However, there was one man who said much more, and whose teachings can be applied to every human life regardless of status or circumstance, that man was Jesus Christ. Christ Jesus taught to "Love one another", to seek peace, to be helpful even to those who persecute you, to forgive rather than take vengeance, to treat others as you want to be treated, to be humble, do not seek riches as to give in to greed, that there is one greater than us all and if we humble ourselves to that ONE we will gain reward more valuable than any of the perishable assets we can gain on Earth. Grudjieff knew nothing and said nothing at all, he changed nothing but the minds of the witches who are too lost to understand he knew nothing and was a waste of time. There is an entity in this world that is very real and loves to waste people's time, and he is a direct opposer to Christ and his Father.

Philosophy isn't witchcraft. This is just another way of perceiving the world around us, much as Christianity or the Law of One provide perspectives for helping to structure one's own life.
The goal is not to be served the wisdom from others, but to discover it upon individual musings.
And, for the record, I've known some lovely Wiccans in my time.

Opinions can definitely be wrong, simply because not all opinions are equal in value, and that means that some can be discarded as irrelevant to the exercise of critical thinking and impartial evaluation.
Gurdjieff was a serious man and his opinions are at least a hundred time more relevant than any philosopher of modern times. You can challenge that claim, but I'd rather have you try to verify that for yourself, if you're so inclined, by reading his writings compiled under the title "All and Everything". Otherwise, if you've never read his books, any opinion you can have about Gurdjieff's teaching is irrelevant. You know what I mean ?
