here is a fun little vlog of david and i travelling 16 hrs to the philippines with a 1 hr layover in Japan :) it was such a long flight but definitely fun! the food was amazing and i would definitely fly with japan airlines again! watch out for more philippine vlogs!

I would like to know too because I have the weekend there and from my understanding it’s considered a carry-on so if it fits under the seat then is it a personal item?

Hey sorry for the late reply! But no it didnt fit at all underneath the seat.. but i put it on top of my carry on and they let me take it in the plane. You just have to stow it on top :/

You need one only before you leave the US, japan doesn’t ask for one for layovers :) happy travels!

Yes i needed a negative test entering the philippines, one for my airbnb in the philippines and also one entering the US again 🤍

how’s the turbulence on this flight? I just wonder how to feel for flights of more than 10 hours non stop
I went on two 12hr flights on Asiana Airlines, I felt no turbulence throughout the whole flight. My pilot was awesome. (Had the same one twice)
For international the planes are so big you really don’t feel turbulence!

Hello! No they did not ask us for a negative pcr test :) although, i think it’s because they already asked to look at our negative pcr before flying out of LAX
