Yes, a very nice vessel compared to the Liberation, and the bikes are tied down correctly on this vessel, on the Clipper they put the bikes in the front wheel clamp and use straps on the handlebars, which can damage the heated grips
@@BeanieBiker_AutisticRider you’ve made my day the thought of those wheel clamps did have me slightly worried. We are sailing on the Voyager in 10 days time from Poole to St Malo 😉
@@davidbealing454 The vessel is a lot more surer than the white whale liberation, or as us islanders have renamed her, the liability, but super happy with how the bikes are cared for on this vessel, compared to the Clipper, just did the ABR Festival and used the Clipper, had my GS in the clamp, and told the guys to stay away from my handlbar grips, as they caused £500 worth of damage to a mates heated grips, so they put it in the wheel clamp and tied her down from the crash bars, all was good and the deckies listened to me. I did want to do the Pyrenees in late September, but just heard that motorcycles are banned in the higher parts of the Pyrenees now, so going to look elsewhere to travel now.
@@BeanieBiker_AutisticRider I could only find one other video on the planned route and it’s a chap dropping his bike as he removes it from the clamp so glad the Voyager is the normal tie downs. Taking my Harley tourer which is a pretty heavy beast, just bought an Africa Twin which probably would have been easier going (maybe next time) we are heading through the Pyrenees via the Pico’s and onto Italy but plan to stick to the N260.
@@davidbealing454 dunno if you are aware, there are now bans for motorcycles in certain places in the Pyrenees, I was going to do Spain, Andorra and France in September, now looking at an alternative, because Spain has banned motorcycles the entire year round in the Pyrenees within their country, have a great trip down there
@macgore8338 they only check French side, very rare for Jersey customs to stop us, last trip I had mine checked coming back, but they thought I was someone else and police were waiting, lol 😆 was waved through after the passport check
Informative video is this the Condor Voyager?

Did they check your passport in jersey or straight on ?
