Yes quite literally. I have privated some of my earlier TH-cam videos but if you go to my first ever vlog (when I had 300 subs) and compare it to now you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about
So crazy how I get ads for social media help claiming just posting whenever works and how posting everyday isn’t a strategy, when so far from creators like you I’ve heard the opposite. I am a tattoo artist trying to grow my following and have been slacking on my ig posting but trying to get better at it and with meaningful content
Great video erik! I have a similiar plan to you, and it's mostly the same type of content that you are making, except its in the data science field. Currently enrolling in a masters of data science and after I get my new iphone fixed, it's time to make some short form or vlogs of what I do as a data science student, what I learn, what I can teach. I'm planning to post it on instagram and tiktok for the time being.
Hey, I am wanting to start content creation. I am a CS student as well and like you a year ago, my programming skills are lacking. I want to create a fintech start up in the future but in the mean time I want to build my skills and create content to not only document my progress but create consistency while helping others do the same. I am struggling because I don’t know how I should approach taking the first step. At the end of your video you offered to help anyone in need, so I was wondering if i would be able to help you out with something in return I can learn from you more.
Hey, Erik! Love your videos, they are a great motivation to me to continue to learn to code. Had a question about starting a personal brand on social media. Tbh, I'm not a great coder and don't think other people would like to hear my amateur opinion on coding topics. What type of content do you think a beginner like me should post? Like just logging my learning to code journey, or maybe day in the life stuff of my college life?
To be brutally honest, when I started posting on social media I wasn’t a crazy coder, but because I posted realistic stuff it resonated with more people. And then overtime I got really really good at it (the point I’m at now). Again, like everything whether it’s coding, social media, gym or life in general, consistency is the key to success
For content: think WHY should someone watch your specific video. What value do you provide? For me it was being relatable and sharing my personal journey, and now I share advice in general hence why I believe I’m scaling so well! Hope this helps 🤝
don't tell people about it cuz you are just creating more competition hahahaha but honestly you dropped facts (i had a faceless tiktok account a couple of years ago in a totally different niche and the amount of opportunities being thrown at me was huuuge wether its collabs or sponsorships and even a trip to dubai with all charges covered to attend a seminar lol ) The best is yet to come brother
The “secret” to grow on social media is consistency?

You really just need to consistently post every day if you want to see success. And keep improving your content over time

I answered something similar to this here in the comments, take a look!
Congratulations, brother.
I just have one question, is there a reason why you avoided building an audience on X? Is it because it's distracting?
Just never really had the drive to do so
