I have 2 older Dreamstation 2 Bipap machines that Phillips knows I have. I received my replacement machine.I don't want to send them back incase I get sick and then I might need them to prove my case. Im not sick. But I sure don't trust them to store my old machines in case I have to go to court over this some day. Question. Can Phillips shut my machine off? I don't have a card or a data transfer device plugged into it?
I do not think that will happen. They are making it much more difficult to use the old recalled machines that people still have though. They really want those units back.
If still waiting for my DreamStationGO replacement, do I need to do anything re the letter they mailed with options. All I want is a replacement device.
I live in Mexico, got my machine second hand and bought all the accessories. I never went to a doctor but i knew I had severe apnea from the moment I started doing research about it. the machine changed my life. The thing is that I learned that it might cause cancer and have stopped using it. Is there anything that I can do? I have the machine. I have no proof of purchase. I'm not looking for money I am trying to see if the company would honor their recall even if it's a second hand purchase.
How about make them pay for my COPD treatment, I’m 42 and workout all the time, dreamstation fumes got me. I don’t smoke either, bought a resmed ST-A out of pocket but then Phillips replaced my bipap ST with their new silicon foam so I have it as a back up in my closet
They had to make some of that money back somehow. Now I’m not saying they’d sell a back door to your data but who knows what the United Corporations of America might do
I was easily able to get a replacement with a new machine from the provider that it was purchased from in Canada. No hassle at all. I walked in, had a brief conversation with the staff and 5 minutes later they came out the back with a new machine and I was on my way
Thank you for keeping us up-to-date.
No problem.
just remove the data card on your old device so Philips can't shut it off.
Thanks for the input.

I do not think you have to do anything if you are already registered for a replacement. This is about the class action lawsuit only.

I would think that you can still register the unit for the recall. Time is running out on that though.

I am sorry to hear that.
At this point, it's safe to say that they're not going to replace my CPAP, this company is such a fraud. Shame on them.
Sorry to hear about that.
Its gotten worse. HUGE data breach at Philips Respronics...
Oh Boy!

Oh boy, a hundred dollars! I'm rich!
Yeh class action lawsuits seem to always boil down to this type of results it seems.
The whole system is a scam, obviously

Nice! Thanks for the input.
Any update on when the payments will arrive?
Unfortunately not. I have heard people getting them, but no rhyme or reason to timing.
If you received a replacement phillips dreamstation 2 , am I still eligible for this lawsuit?
It sounds that way. Check out the link in the description, and you can read the details of what is available.
It has been a shitshow for years.
Cannot disagree with that.
Does this apply to Canadian 🇨🇦 customers. I did get a DS 2 replacement.
I do not know about canada unfortunately.
Is there any possible restitution for non-USAians or are we just all fucked
I think that there is a resolution everywhere. Not sure what the process is, but there should be one in your country.
Thats is crap I pain 1200.00 for my 3 out of my pocket
Thanks for watching.
How do i get that letter
I think that you can do it online without the letter.
Chump change
Thanks for the input.
