Personally I prefer Shiradi. Just while getting closer to Mangalore, roads are in a lil bad condition. But no hairpin bends like Charmadi.. Shiradi is the shortest route too.
Y u not shown that 15 KMS shiradi ghat to shakalespur.... which is thr is no road at all.... only we c Big big path holes...we can't c dambar road at all...we feel like we are travelling to hell...

Shiradi ghat section has less steep hairpin bends compared to Charmadi ghat.. Road is very wide.

The extension of the ghat section is under repair. Hopefully we see the completed road by 2025 🤞
