The developers told us why Banjo is mounted in the Cock and Plucker. The Rare Development teams were separate in separate barns. The teams in these barns were very competitive with eachother. Mounting Banjo on the wall was a jab at the barn that developed Banjo-Kazooie.

The biggest mystery to me are the other portraits in Count Batula’s mansion. The big portrait in the dining room is Batula’s forefather, (Also watch Jiggy’s overthinking it video where he theorizes that Conker is more than just a squirrel) but the other squirrels in the portraits aren’t even mentioned. One of them looks red like the forefather portrait, and just like that one, it looks like an old Twelve Tales render of Conker but heavily edited, while another one is this grey old looking squirrel who to me looked like he could’ve been some sort of scientist.
"The powers that be" I always saw as Greg's "bosses" as he says, "I'm just doing my job" These are some great theories and questions, haha. Great Video, man!
When I first got to the fight with the giant teddiz robot with the girl attached on my playthrough, my immediate assumption was that the concept was akin to an anglerfish (more literal) or a siren (less literal), much like a context sensitive button, an enemy tailored to take advantage of the character, in this case Conker, the idea being to draw him in to take him out more easily. This seems to be reinforced by his own behavior during that sequence of events. To me, it seemed like they had grafted a sort of animatronic onto the larger 'bot and given it the ability to speak, along with a false persona, to back up the act it was meant to portray, like a sort of mechanical siren. Obviously, that's a very generous likening, as it's not like it was an animatronic of Berri or some other attractive squirrel, but in this case it was more sinister; a youngster seeming to be in trouble and needing an adult to save her, but turned out to be the bait for a trap, set for someone with a kind heart rather than selfish motives. Maybe I was completely incorrect in my on-the-spot assessment, but it struck me as kind of deep at the time; of course I may have been reading too much into it. Either way, CBFD had the best multiplayer on the N64.
If i remember right, the Live and Reloaded multiplayer has cutscenes at the end of the rounds and one of them shows the squirrels shooting a bazooka at the weasel doctor (back then he was a tedy general) and he loses both of his legs at that moment. So at least that mistery is solved or retconned by Live and Reloaded depending on how you look at it.
The panther King when you first meet him I always thought he was creepy and the way he acts and talks when you meet him again that he's not that bad it's just the first meeting when they break the table leg it's a little creepy I wonder if anybody felt the same way

The reason the girl's name is Regan is because she's a reference to The Exorcist. the whole head-spinning around, and the being a cute girl, only to start cussing in a deep/evil voice, that's all a reference to that movie. So, her being named that makes perfect sense. As to where the sources are from for her canonically having that name, no clue. Could just be a fan-name that stuck. Anyway, great video. Surprised there wasn't any speculation about what was supposed to be going on with the Windmill or where Conker & Berri's place (or the Cock & Plucker, for that matter) was supposed to be in relation to where the game took place...

I like that alternative Time Line theory about Banjo and that gives me an idea. Grunty doesn't merely settle Tooty's looks. She wants to destroy all of Spiral Mountain so she starts a war that goes on for years. The good side is lead by Ugly Tooty, Sgt. Jamjars, Humba Wumba, and Mumbo Jumbo. Bottles ends up being the first causality.
These are some interesting theories! I had this theory that milk is pretty powerful in their universe. I mean, why would there be a war called the “Milk Wars” in the first place. Besides, Panther King sure loves milk, and I believe that’s because the milk gives power. Maybe this beverage makes one live longer! I also believe the Professor had gotten his hands on some milk, making him live for so long. Another thing that stumbled me was the Little Girl, but for a different reason. She says about her being Conker’s daughter. I wonder if this is true or not, she does look similar to both Berri and Conker. I can’t wait to see more videos from you! ❤

So from what I know it just makes it so you don't get the cutscene of meeting grimm and no access to the extra squirrel tail lives due to not dying. The tails won't be displayed in any spots they normally are if you play on chapters mode and jump to a later level since it's a "fresh" save unattached to a main player save and therefore has 0 deaths in game (easy way to find out how this works)
Yeah it just doesn't display the life counter or extra lives or play the cutscene. Other than that it doesn't change anything and you can play as normal, it won't glitch or corrupt the game or anything like that.
Dont know if someone had said it, but i saw on a video ranking conker's characters from good to evil that the squirel girl was captured by teddyz, then they did a experiment to rewrite her mind to be on the tedyz side so the squirels would fall on the trap or something like that. You can search the video to get an more acurate explanation.
The little girl and robot boss creeped me out the first time I encountered them. Such a weird and bizzare character/boss. Although that summarizes the entire game honestly. Lol That’s one thing I love about it. Its such a bizarre game. There’s nothing else out there like it. Such a classic!

But yeah, playing this growing up I thought about these, especially that lone villager running away, almost as if that was something accidentally left in after Conker stops being a bat. Also shouted out your channel in the chat of a Banjo Kazooie livestream.
Here’s a small theory I have, Conker is so upset about Berri’s death not because he truly loved her, but it was his fault that she died. First off it’s implied that Conker and Berri’s relationship is on the rocks with Conker constantly coming home late due to his time at the local pub, and the games manual commenting on their relationship not lasting long. Second the final third of Bad Fur Day deconstructs Conker’s selfish behavior a lot. He goes to batula’s home for an inheritance he gets turned into a bat and only gets $100 out of the whole mess, joins the army to have the country indebted to him? The only reward he gets is PTSD from the War. So at the end of the game Conker gets a gaurentted chance to revive berri and he only thinks about himself leading him to lose her permanently. I think it’s pretty accurate considering in the planned sequel Conker would’ve moved on from Berri by the end of the game and would’ve found a true companion in Bunni. But that’s just my take.
It make me feels so upset that the sequel got cancelled when Microsoft sold Rareware! I would like the sequel is coming and i would like that the sequel is about when Conker gonna do his quest to revived Berri. Poor Berri! She doesn't deserved to gets dead murdered and turned into a cyborg and joined the dark side in the cancelled sequel, and poor Conker since he doesn't deserved to gets forggoten along with Banjo.
@@jiggylookback It’s something I think about when reading the planned story for OBFD in that Conker realizes he has true friends in Franky, Fangy and Chambert after getting killed due to his love of Money (and a plot by Greg and the Panther King.) where the 4 of them escape the afterlife together with Bunnie in tow (Who we actually see Conker developing a relationship with) and eventually the ending of the game has Conker essentially burying his past mistakes by actually working together with the Panther King and both metaphorically and literally putting his relationship with Berri behind him by defeating her. It’s kind of why that I feel the idea games ending wouldn’t have hit so much harder if Bunnie didn’t randomly become a Zombie at the end, let me explain 1. It doesn’t make any sense considering the rest of Conker’s Allie’s and Conker himself are also undead, 2. It hits so much harder that Conker is finally putting his past behind him and moving on even planning settling down with Bunni but right when he’s about to find happiness the Clone Berri essentially brings his past back one last time to haunt him.
Im not sure if someone has mentioned this yet but the girl being named Reagan is a reference to the possessed girl from The Exorcist which the little girl is parodying

Prior to the release of Live & Reloaded its not explained which village the villagers who raided Batulas mansion came from since there isn't one in the N64 version but there is one in the Xbox remake which makes more sense. Also I think the squirrel who commits suicide is female Im pretty sure of it. I also wonder what the origins are of the Dragon God in Uga Buga are and what Don Weaso, the weasel mafia boss, was doing in the world of the game to begin with. Like how long had he known the Panther King and owned the Rock Solid dance club and how long he knew Berri as well. Also the Xbox remake of the game contains an additional though inaccessible passageway in the Windy area. That could actually be where Conker came from the Cock & Plucker since there are no areas in the N64 game leading either to or from the C&P. Ah well. Great video though
Great video! This game raises so many questions you could probably even do another full video about its mysteries! I always wondered about some of the random things that happen when I played this game as a kid, but never questioned it as I just enjoyed the ride! This is certainly one of the weirdest games on the N64 and I always find it funny that modern Nintendo likes to pretend it doesn't exist. 😅

Conker's bad Fur Day reloaded would have been way better than the original bad Fur Day but the problem is they censored everything so although I like reloaded but the original is still the best version all because they censored everything makes no sense

I think they are all Batula at different points in time. If that pic is of him the main one he was red and is now gray.

Theres so many theory channels out there and i dislike pretty much all of them. But this channel, idk why i just enjoy it so much
Thank you! I really try to be different because I also see a lot of theory channels that aren’t so good. I want to throw in my nostalgia and childhood wonder to dive into these things I’ve always thought about.

I tried turning on notifications for your channel but.. it said it's disabled because your channel is marked as "for kids". 😅
What? No way. That’s the first I’ve heard of that. I think it could very well be a glitch. I don’t have a single thing marked as for kids.

Conker's bad Fur Day reloaded would have been way better than the original bad Fur Day but the problem is they censored everything so although I like reloaded but the original is still the best version all because they censored everything makes no sense
Yeah but the art design is much better. It's really only a few swear words they censored. I really don't care about that. I also loved the multiplayer games in L&R they're awesome

Multiplayer is def better but it was already great on N64. I honestly prefer the art style of the 64 over Live and Reloaded
