We do the same thing with our so-so bales except I spread them out a bit. We call them therapy bales,it gives the cows something to do. Plus every minute they spend messing with a bale is one less minute they have to mess with the fence. Nice looking herd.
Lmao we have some "protective cows out here too". Our playtime is around 5 o'clock here too hahaha. Cutest thing ever. Ashley and the kids sure loved that little white guy lol. Thanks alot for the shout ya dudnt have to do that but I sure do appreciate it buddy thanks again
That cracked me up at 0:46, with the update just getting started and you stopped by to ask #11 how he was doing! Funny what sticks in your brain sometimes though, the other day while I was putting out some grain for some feeder calves, one was relieving himself as I walked past and I just had to say it, "what are you doing 33, taking a leak! " Of course I had to try and say it with that Canadian accent too. Really enjoy your channel.
Congrats on having so many healthy calves..... Was a nice tour you gave us, even though you were cold.... Take care and stay safe Tyson..... Thumbs up.
Yup east winds are usually bad news. You might have to spread lime around in the summer get rid of disease. Cattle are looking really good eh. Thank you for the video update eh.
Transport belting.... good idea Tyson. Keep the wood dry using belting on the lower part. I use belting for truck mud flaps, fenders, every thing I can. Stay safe Tyson! I’m in the heart of the red zone in Italia.
Hi Tyson, I enjoyed this video. You have a wonderful herd of good looking animals. They look well-feed and happy in the cold. I can see the cattle do well even in the cold if there are windbreakers. Nice to see Shaun smiling out there. Shaun needs a good woman. I hope he has one. He would be a great catch -- solid, dependable, talented and a handsome young man. - Dean from Minnesota
Hi Tyson great video as usual that cow and calf at beginning sums up what livestock farming is all about for me hard work long hours but end product like that magic
On your last video, you mentioned a channel name, rebellion farm, but I can located it, I wonder if you put a link of it, I really enjoy your videos keep it up, greeting's from San Diego, Ca.
Two videos the say week!!!! Almost got that 30K!!!! A few of us pushed hard for you!!!! Keep the calves healthy!!! We've got a bug, usually it's a bigger problem, but so far this season, not as bad😁
Great looking calves and cows Tyson best luck with them buddy. Were close to lock down here in Ireland with the ould Corona virus you guys stay safe over there. Still enjoying the videos great ta watch cheers buddy
My dog loves the cow videos, and the mooing noises, we used to be dairy and he would go fetch the cows in twice a day with me, he loved it, he is a small terrier but he can make a bull move on alright! Used to say chase a cow, and he knows it's time to get the cows in!
How do. Great video. I watch Ryan . Straight Pipe Acres the old fall. Gives me wrong dates on his cows for calf's. He noes . But you got some nice calf's there . From Andy in UK
You have a lot of hybrid vigor in your herd that's good. Here in the u.s. if it's not black you're discounted to much white you're discounted. Take the hide off cant tell the difference. You guys have a good looking herd be proud of that 👍
Good looking herd Tyson. Have you noticed if black cows bring a little more money than red ones up in Canada? Never understood why is like that down here in the States. Great video..
Calves look good. We only have 40 on the ground so far. We have been getting ridiculous cold weather here too. -26 celsius last night. We are hoping the scours don’t find us once spring thaw takes place. Anyways good job and cheers from MB 🇨🇦
Tyson good to see things are going well , I have to say that your white calf is the whitest that I have seen most have an ivory look but that one is white . Good to see how calving is doing on your operation. Good videos 👍
Sure is starting to look more like the season is changing for you also Tyson. Seems to be a good number of calves so far. Many more to drop? -Bob... PS: Hey Shaun, what is the story behind the hoodie you are sporting about today? Did you take long to design it? Is that a first time effort or did you go back to the drawing boards to change your original design up some? Maybe you could do a DIY video of how you came up with the design? Just the live action video ... story telling time Shaun ...
Nice looking animals, it looks like you have a nice commination of of colors, especially the bright white calve there..lol and they do look content, but yeah we get that sometimes which probably just about all cow, calf farmers has had that sometimes, I think it's just they want to finally eat something different, but not too much of it. But that's my guess. So good video. and last but not least, sides you have poles, boards, on your building door openings, do you ever still get a cow or two get inside.? Thanks.
Is there a way by looking at a cow to tell what quality beef it will produce? Do you eat any of the cows you raise? I would like to see some of the raw meat and maybe you could do a video of you cooking some of it. Do you think the cows prefer the warmer weather over the winter or can you tell?
Do you have a feedlot that you sell your calves to or do you have to sell at a sale barn. You have a nice crossbred bunch of cattle and calves. What do you use for breeding bulls?

Hey Tyson, Awesome looking bunch of Calves. Does Shaun own any Cattle yet. Looks like you need to hire someone just to Haul Manure for you. Awesome Videos Tyson, Thank You
Yea Shaun owns all the blue tag cows and calves... and he purchased 20 more this fall. Yes I really have no choice but to spread out manure this year..
Beautiful calves Tyson.I always enjoy you're videos. That being said, I looked at StraightPipe acres for about 1 second and that was all. Honest answer, I had 2 of my grandchildren standing beside me watching and the first words out of his mouth were not fit for children and I really didn't appreciate it either :( I may catch flack for my opinion, and that's fine, but he should be able to make a video that's pleasant to watch without having to worry about who's listening. In no way is his video's your fault and I'm not blaming you !! I just feel like after all this time you're more of a friend and on the other hand I have no idea who he is. Maybe he'll see this or you can pass it on to him.Sorry my friend but I can't watch his channel.

I've read that arborvite trees certain types can grow 2 to 4ft per year, they'd make a great wind block 😁
