Hey mate! Another great vid. I've done some many hours r&d on the positioning of the tappet pick up lobe on sector gears. With the BJX gears, the tappet is picked up later in the piston cycle than with shs. Where this is important, is in high ROF builds that are full stroke, where the tappet can/will be picked up a fraction of a second before the piston has completed it's full stroke, resulting in an air leak from the t-piece. This can be resolved by short stroking/making your piston lighter/using a heavier main spring (all of which cause the piston to return faster), however, to achieve high rof with full stroke and good air volume ratios with a longer barrel, whilst keeping under 300fps, the different tappet pick up lobe will resolve the pre-mature tappet pick up issue quite easily. Hope this made sense...
I feel like you should put out a how to shim video just because most of the videos out there are: A) old / outdated B) Bad Information C) Still left with problems and no real explanation as to why the shimming might still be bad and what to look out for.

Yeah bud it does, think I’ve done similar with the tappet plate by adding 2mm to the front so it gets picked up later.
