Turned out pretty good, I can tell the VTX is pulling a significant chunk off the battery discharge rate, I get less punch than on the Analog setup, less than I would have expected for only 3g extra weight at least
Still, temperatures stayed cool, decent link even though that was on 25mW
The Rev-01 front cage didn't account for how short the nano cam is, I will make provisions for it for the Rev-02 frame kits coming after CNY so that none of the cage ends up in the field - เกม

haha I know right! not so long ago I wouldn't have believed a single li-ion cell could get a quad flying, let alone this long
That's awesome!!! I'm hopeful to get a decent flight with my Hawkeye split Camera now. It weghs more(18.5g) because of the DVR but I'm hoping it won't be too heavy. Are the models you currently sell the "Rev-02"?
Thanks! Just realized now you weren't referring to the hawkeye thumb cam; looking at the board size it appears meant for 30x30mm mounting?
Might be a challenge fitting it in there; the Wingman is meant to whoop stack 25.5x25.5mm
You might still be able to jerry rig it in there, although I wouldn't encourage it.
Also double checked and the camera appear to be micro size, 19mm?
Here again the frame is designed for nano size, 24mm wide cams :/
All boostybois that ship now are Rev-02 with the enable pin
@@fractalengineering I was referring to the camera frame. You mentioned it is in view and it would be changed in the video description.
@@GR8SCOTT ah! thought we were still about the boostyboi; then yes it's long been implemented; you can see on the product page picture I extended a 1.4mm slot towards the front to fit the hdz nano cam
@@fractalengineering thanks! Don't count me out yet. The Hawkeye 30x30 board is awkward(maybe mount it to the included tpu mount), and the camera comes with an adapter. Save a frame for me. I'm putting together the cash right now.
I really wish I could haven tested this frame out! When will they be in stock?

I absolutly love this drone. Is there any change that you could advice me a radio and goggles under 350? (And maybe make a rtf kit :) )
Thank you mate, for under $350 I'd probably start with jumper v2 elrs radio for $100 and put the remaining into decent midrange goggles like Skyzones or EV200d

I can't find good goggles (hdzero) for under 250. Only one with 1 screen...
What res/fps mode is the running in? I saw a pic of the fractal wingman on the HDZ facebook and it looks like a pretty sweet little quad.
yep that's the one :) I haven't changed the video mode; default whoop lite/nano lite cam
have you tested long range at all? how far have you gotten?
which fc and motor this video uses ?
FC is X12 lite, motors are 1202.5 11500kv, both from Happymodel
does it look that blocky in the goggles ?

Ok, I see that my original viewing must have been on reduced resolution on YT, looks good in 1080p
