    In this Rhino Grasshopper tutorial we will model a wavy pattern on a freeform surface. First we will model the base NURB surface and then we will make a planar surface which it's dimension is related to the surface. We will use Isotrim to make strips on the ground and start modeling the pattern. At the end we will morph the pattern back on to the surface and finish the tutorial.

    Hello, that's a very impressive tutorial, very interesting & very useful, but one thing I would like to ask you, since I watch the whole tutorial, I can see you teach how to set the depth thickness, you didn't mention how to make the curves have a width thickness, I can't find that until the last moment, would you like to show me that, thanks a lot.

    how did you add the edges to the list item? that was unclear and I am stuck on it. is there something you needed to do in rhino or a special command in grasshopper? thanks.

    Hi, thanks for the tutorial. For a school project I'm looking for a way to project a pattern or something similar onto a surface without using SurfaceMorph. How can I do this?

    Good tutorial, just a bit fast (even for me, whom I’d consider rather experienced rhino user). Thanks!

    can you make a video about how make patterns on trimmed-multiple-surfaces

    • @ParametricHouse
      @ParametricHouse  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Trimmed multiple surfaces can be any 3dmodel so it's obvious there is not a single solution for it. Depending on the model and it's topolgy it has to be remodeled by carefully thought multiple nurbs surfaces so the overall pattern tesselates. It can also be converted to a Mesh even then a pure quad mesh is a challenge!

    This is fine but you have sort of kept this incomplete and not produced solid object out of it...Any way....excellent tutorial...
